Just want to see what sort of Track/Race/Rally Skylines are around. Throw up some spec's if you want.

No streeters please.

This is my budjet build club rally car, setup for gravel and tarmac. -Just running a stock RB20DE until I build up another unit with some power. It's got adustable suspension, 6 point cage, harnesses etc and is fully race and road legal for around $6K NZ.

mine's not a skyline, but it goes ok :D

It's a budget 100% backyard build, using mostly various types of leftover factory Nissan parts from different models.

SR20DE

Did 1:09 flat at Wakefield, (which I am hoping to beat on Saturday) and should be well under my previous 1:54.8 at Eastern Creek in a couple of weeks.

It's currently road registered, but won't be for a whole lot longer. I'm planning to run in Improved Production next year if all goes according to plan.

Ah goodie was about to create a thread like this myself, the more pics the better from any angle of any car as im getting ideas for my current build.

I damaged my r32 gtr drag racing so I bought another street gtr and have decided to keep this damaged 1 as my dedicated circuit car. So far im only in the process of stripping it down (prob another week or so of that) then I need to weld up the damage, paint the interior, boot and engine bay and get some and then start assembling it again.

Nothing exciting but here are some pics of where im at so far:

Most of you know it, Blown VH45 Powered 33 on methanol, full andra cage ran 10.17 to date on stock internals, new engine is a few weeks from completion hoping for some good 9's out of it.

well credit to Louie at Xclusive colour for the paint job - we asked him for something that would stand out.....

but the stickers are crazy....Kel designed and cut them on a $600 ebay special vinyl cutter

how much was spent?

I believe its gotten so high now that we dont keep track.......if you dont think about it, you cant lose sleep over it.

House in the country.....i was thinking more along the lines of a nice apartment in the city :D

Does yours go simon? Ours goes when its not bogged down with problems.

    • If you mean the alarm immobiliser; theyre internal to the alarm itself which makes that difficult; I couldnt even see where he put it; its not in the same place as last time; but with all black wiring it might be very challenging to trace  I had someone turn the key for me as I know it only primes for a couple of seconds As my post above; I am getting no voltage to the pump at all; but I am testing continuity of the power line (SB) from the pump plug to the relay fine. As well as the negative from the pump plug to a 12V constant.    Yeah; he blammed the no start on a bad battery; said I needed to get a new battery and it'll start. Turns out the battery drained because the tail lights had been on for half the day during the install (the rubber cushion on the brake switch gave out while he was testing it as I have a picture of the car from that morning with the tail lights off..i've replaced that). The battery was turning over the engine just fine for a long time; but got low since lights were draining it so it was too low to test a start after he finished. I bought a new one on his advice...$250 wasted. My original battery charged up just fine and is healthy.    It was running perfectly fine when I messed up the old alarm (programmed out the remotes). He couldnt start it after removing the old alarm; my assumption is that when he unhooked it; he didnt bridge the circuit back when trying to start it. Its always been perfectly fine. The ECU swap and pump were 2 years ago. It's never missed a beat in that time.
    • This is a big issue for me without the diff. I just have zero drive from the passenger side when drivers side has no traction. Bec's parents place has a crazy steep driveway with odd camber and I have never been able to get up. My bro-in-law's 130i with an (unknown brand) LSD gets up fine as does their dad's Hiace. My car stays at the bottom. We have other odd camber roads around here as we're elevated a bit and if it's raining I can get totally stuck around some hairpins.
    • Yeah, I am super excited for this.
    • Was the car running before he touched the car?
