Well funny enough zip ties would give it drift credit...

Fencing wire just reminds me of the barbed wire bandit for NSW forums... Who plowed his car through a fence into a paddock.... Twice...

The second time writting it off...

Saw Dangerous_Daveo driving down Moss street this morning around 10am...I was behind you in the RED Vitara. I stalked you for a bit but you drive like a granny so it wasn't exciting.

Dude get your watch fixed :D

I was at work at 8.20. Car didnt move from there until 5.20.

That or there is another red cefiro with hinodex dark bronze wheels...

spotted a white r34 last night at redcliffe. In the old 711 car park...

i was in the red commodore u double parked, as the line was at home...

i really like those led tail lights.

Spotted a tidy R31 GTSR, spoke with the owner and handed out some cards, must've had a huge turbo cause when he drove away all I could hear was turbo spool, :)

The factory T3/4's on the GTS-R are pretty big, I want one ;)

Had a white R34 GTR (funnily enough with the plates 34GTR) behind me on Old Cleveland Rd from Capalaba to Carindale. Had an older gentleman driving, with a big grin on his face.

Two 34s together, made the dude in the Commo ute turning at Chandler do a double take... :D

(made ME do a double take when I looked in the rearview mirror!)

Well recently got back from holidays up in your pretty state and saw a few skylines around the place. Maroon R32 GTR near Broadbeach last Wednesday, awesome looking R34 GT-T in the Pacific Fair carpark on Friday (number plates RIDE M3) and a maroon aus delivered R32 GTR heading towards Brisbane airport on Saturday afternoon.

Meanwhile on a side note, how many f@#king people in Broadbeach own BMW's? I couldnt get away from them.

Amaru that would have been me.

(RIDE ME)

was it this one?

spotted col on the way to work this morning

(yes col, that white 32 flashing its headlights at you as it turned into gayford street off gympie road was me :()

HAHAHA it was my last day of work before holidays.... Which im now on... I was in dreamy land after stopping at brumby's and getting a healthy breakfast...

Didnt see the flash as such i thought i saw something out of the corner of my eye, was in dream ie dream lland. Then as you have made the turn i saw the SAU sticker and thought damn it i missed him.... Then waved with no chance of you seeing it....

Thats when i realized i must have been driving this far on auto pilot...

Funny thing was a minute of so after you went a car arse ended another making that turn... Blocked the whole intersection just after i got through...

BTW you have an eye catching car... Nice ride height and the rims just seem to match nicelly....

So do you mate, yours seems to stand out alot due to the colour and just generally clean appearance! I give it 2 x AzzurrA Thumbs Ups! B)

Also saw a silver r33 (may have been four door?) with a SAU sticker on the rear quarter window. looked to be having some troubles right outside the toll booths of gateway bridge. couldnt stop m8, were in hurry and wouldnt have been any help anyway.

    • Before all the EFR fan boys come in, have a look at: https://www.garrettmotion.com/racing-and-performance/performance-catalog/turbo/g-series-ii-g30-825-58mm/ It also comes in a T4 1.06 divided housing. I would dare say if you want response & also decent power, this thing would chop.   AND apologies, just re-read your post, you've already bought the turbo... whatever you do, make sure you stick with divided housing and proper twin scroll manifold.
    • People have got to stop doing that. ShatGPT is not a search engine. It is a hallucination factory.   I also would recommend the 1.05. The .83 will "work" for you , in that it will be more responsive, but I think you'll find that it won't be anywhere near as good running it out to 8000rpm as the big housing will be.
    • Decided for the first time ever I would tow my car TO the track day on the same working theory as bringing tools and spares "if I have it I wont need it, but if I leave it behind i will 100% need it" all setup and ready to go out and try these A050 for the first time First session showed I needed to stiffen up the dampers a touch but still managed a few 1:21's without much effort. things were looking good. Came in a dropped the tyres down  to 26/28 as they had gotten to 35/33C from 22C cold The first lap of session two I managed to drop into 1:20's. Then in the second lap into the second session. Coming into T3 and I suddenly lost brake pedal followed by some huge rear end vibrations and scraping sounds. Got it back into the pits after session ended and found this. in the attached video, all of the wobble is in the hub its self, wheel is mint, and bearing feels tight. lKXLqpd - Imgur.mp4   Deciding it was a bent spindle I tried to find bearing/hub assembly locally but was unsuccessful so it was loaded back onto the trailer i luckily brought it on to drag it back home
    • 1.05 you’ve gotta let it breath
    • You have to continuously fill it to avoid dry running. Personally the transmissions I've serviced have never been bad enough to justify doing this because it is definitely a pretty complicated and somewhat risky procedure compared to simply draining the pan, measuring what came out, then refilling with the exact same amount.
