yeah i know LH could have managed his tyre usage better but isn t it the maclaren teams job to comunicate any potential in race tyre wear issues to their driver before it punctures.

but was it even a wear problem?

the commentators said "look at the wear on the outside shoulders", but it didn't look any different to the inside.

it's not like the blown tyre was down to the canvas on the outside edge. who's to say it was just a manufacturing fault?

I have that video and its not spectacular like they claim it to be.

Its too brief - definitely not comprehensive enough and doesnt cover enough of the different eras...

Bit of a shame really.

He was 6th behind Gonzo in 4th.

Good outing for Renault.

It would have been very different if KR hadnt somehow magically leapfrogged FA at the 2nd round of stops.

And what a freaking leapfrog it was too!

Former champion and occasional Ferrari test driver Michael Schumacher will be back in action for the Italian marque at the group Monza test later this month, reports in Germany on Tuesday said.

Championship leader and McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton is quoted as saying: "I think Michael's presence at Ferrari is a compliment to us."

How exactly did you arrive at this conclusion.

He said it "complements us" and i can totally understand Ferrari feeling the need to bring in a 7 times world champion to give them some feedback on what he thinks is ailing them.

Smart move and yeah, it sure does complement Mac that Ferrari are resorting to these measures.

MS is Ferrari's pinch hitter.

all I could really take out of that race is the fact that James Allen has got to go. fck me dead he is annoying. he never shuts up, constantly interrupts and talks over whoever is unlucky enough to be with him and what's more he is just plain wrong.... all the time. he just waffles on and on and on about nonsense.

he is not fit to announce the up-coming stations on a train.

I dont get you Adam, not that it really matters. Why is it so hard for you just to concede the bleeming obvious. Kimi has done ok in the Mrs stakes. A former Miss Scandinavia and model who happens to be a biscuit?

You carry on with your favourite term "hater" when people question or criticise Lewis etc. But you blindly lash out at all things Kimi?!?! LOL, i dont care either way, but you throw the term around like a school principal lecturing to pupils, as though you are above such behaviour. Yet your views and posts of Kimi as bad/worse then any posted on Lewis or any other driver?

But thats fine, your banter with Dezz provides some of the merrier moments of my day :P

      Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.

      Well the articals keep saying a Q50s (Skyline in Japan) with a new Manual gearbox. I like the talk about the new looks with the round tail lights. I hope they bring back the retro look like they did with the Z
