Hi all

My friends car (sau member also) was stolen today from Miranda Car-park approx at 12.30pm

He parked his car, walked into the shopping center to realise he left his wallet in the car.. Came back and it was gone

Description: White 180sx, with black bonnet, boot and roof with stockies on!!

Plates: AU43AF

He only just got this new car on the road!!!

Im sure you all know how much effort he has put into it.

So please keep a look out!!

Me and few other ns members have been searching around miranda with no luck. It didnt have much fuel in it at all, so im sure he/she must have filled up.. But petrol pumps werent much help

These pics were only taken last night:

He just finished transfering his old car to the new shell (took him 3 months of hard work by him-self)..

So I dont think he put all his kill switches in etc etc..

Only went up to miranda to pay for insurance..

So please everyone keep an eye out!! He spent a lot of time from a bare shell to this by him self.. So a lot of hard work!!

HOLY FARK!!!!!

I saw this car today!!! would have been almost 1245 pulling into the shell on the left hand side of taren point road heading towards the city.... im deadly serious... saw 2 blokes in the car but thats all i remember....

the shell servo should have CCTV footage!!!!

i was on my way back from miranda myself and must have left at the same time as the criminals!

i really hope ive helped!

haysey, sounds like you're on to something.

i advise u ring the # and let peter know asap..

fken amazing how they got into the car so fast and drove off.

did pete leave the ticket in the car? if not i swear security there shud beef it up a bit.

they should take down details of all drivers who claim they lost their ticket..

but i guess why wud they bother cause they rather just the $50 or so to let them out and not waste any time filling out forms.

Edited by whyte

i just called peter and informed him

hes on the hunt!!!

it was definately the car i saw and these crooks will definately be on the cctv footage at the servo and probs shitting themselves by now...

and where i parked at miranda today i didnt need a ticket at all.. maybe they should install machines hey..

Miranda and Macquarie are two extremely well known places for car thieves. Why these shopping centers don't care about their customers is beyond me. I'd say a few cars per day go missing at both and what's being done about it...

thank you so much Ed for the phone call

cops are gonna check the videos for me

thanks so much Ed true champion

no worries bro... a case of Hoegaarden would be in order when you get your car back hahahahahaha

hope all goes well and these idiots are caught!

    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
