Sorry to hear champ, will keep an eye out for your car.

This is getting out of hand, if the cops dont take it the thieves do, F**KERS. :(

This is getting f**ked........I'm sick of reading threads like this!

Maybe we should start our own tracking company for imports and maybe even start up our own policing force. Exercise our rights as citizens to actually keep the property we work so hard for.

/ends rant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

blehh.. that sucks blue b'lls !

Did you contact police what they say? Theyre prob laughing on the inside saying stuff like .. one less car we gotta defect!

Anyways im sorry to hear it, does it have any imperfection ' car looks pretty clean though' eg scratches, lights are working etc...

Hope you get it back soon.

KEEP SEARCHING FOR THAT LOSER!!!!

Sorry to hear mate. Hope she comes back in one piece!! :)

Thats not a stardard front bar in the pics - thats a pretty distiguishing feature of the car too... You said it was stock from the outside??

What kind of alarm did you have (if any?)

i seriously dont get it. Do ppl get off on stealing cars or something? Like what advantage does anyone gain from stealing someone's car? everyone is looking for the car, the cops mite be looking for the car, it just seems really weird.

They don't deserve to live

Sorry to hear mate. Hope she comes back in one piece!! :)

Not stock but it looks it to the standard person (I forgot I was saying it to people who can see the difference). Front bar and side skirts are not standard.

1. Bonnet is a little off colour, (little more yellow) compared to the rest of the car (pearl blue under white).

2. The bumper has been sanded and fiber glassed at the ends because cracking on bolt was in need of repair. 1/2 done (pretty easy to see if you pull beside it) loll

Kensington Campus Mecheng car park 5th level back area where to footbridge is to the street. Ironic that I could have been back to my car in time if I didn't go to the library and study.

I helpfully uninstalled my alarm because it was conflicting with my turbo timer.

The car was kept garaged and only came out twice a month for long drives/raining days. It wasn't worth insuring, funny how I say that now.

P.s A lot of sweat blood and tears went into this car as i know you can all appreciate.

f**king bummer. alarm is a must mate. there is no doubt thieves will look for a car without an alarm, or at least a non-functioning one. insurance is also a wise investment but a decent alarm is a must. for $400 installed you can get an decent alarm with turbo timer interface. i hope you get the car back, and when you do get it back put an alarm in it.

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
