i rang united head office and buleen has it too... 208 buleen rd :ermm:

they dont know when the real roll out will be... just that it wont be every united....

so c'mon fellas.... lets all jump on it!!! the more people that run it the more places it'll be!

55 litres @ 1.40 = $77 - ballpark 391kms to a tank @ 14 litres per 100

55 litres @ 0.99 = $54 - ballpark 305kms to a tank @ 18 litres per 100

with the $23 you save you can buy another

22 litres at the same cost of 98 penis (at $1.40 per llitre)

which will give you a further 125kms

so total

$77 and 391kms

$77 and 425kms

This assumes 98 penis of $1.40 and $0.99 of e85

agreed.... but if it happens to be cheaper than 98 then so be it...

what i'm really waiting for is 98 to cost $3/litre and e85 like $1.50 lol

303 rwkw :ermm:

(the 311 didn't hit the limiter like the 303 one did, was probably 500 revs short)

turbo is still making good power @ redline and would have a little bit more to give if i bothered to fix the boost i'd say

was all hogwash basically Dezz

pros- more torque everywhere, more power, less combustion heat, less carbon buildup

cons- your car will drink fuel like a sailor on shore leave, which more than compensates for the price difference to 98

well done mate. :ermm:

You increased boost so you cant compare figures. how much power did you make on the same boost?

basically the comparison is from the point where both fuel's started to dye off...

both had more in them with more boost, but i'm playin it safe on the tunes :)

Excellent, might speak to my tuner.

Although latest tune was 253rwkw, boost dropping off by a few psi in the top end, so I wouldn't be expecting too much more from a GT-RS anyway...

i would... i'd be guessing 280rwkw dezz...

the timing advance you can get away with from e85 gives sooo much

what boost control are you running? what psi?

You sure?

I've never heard of anyone making 280rwkw with a GT-RS on a 25...I thought it was past its capability, but hey, I'd love to be wrong :ermm:

Blitz SBC Spec-R, 18psi but tailing off to about 16 (trying to find the problem)

you ever heard of a 2835 .68 making 311? :ermm:

yeah once...some guy, joey joe joe something or other

actuator maybe?

i'm running a spec s

Yeah that's what we're thinking, although you'd think HKS would make their actuator to hold the amount of boost the turbo is made for...

Spoken to another guy running a GT-RS and he said his is fine, suggested playing with the gain settings on the EBC, so I'll take that to the tuner as well...

    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
    • Nice car! I’m glad folks in the US have gotten past the FnF and are buying real cool cars like the 260RS I was with a bunch of mates in Portland about a year ago and spotted a green Stagea (just a regular 2.5T AWD) parked about 2 blocks away and they were like “a what?” So I made a bet with them for a round of beers and said “ok one of you run down there and tell me if the steering wheel is on the correct side” 5 mins later the American comes trudging back up the hill and goes “he’s right guys. Ok what beer do you want?”
    • Should replace OR drop the tank, give it's good clean. Might be worth replacing that entire fuel level/pump/cradle thing with this: https://frenchysperformancegarage.com/products/fpg-s13-180sx-r32gtst-single-pump-hanger-kit-billet-hat-6-v3-fpg-089?gQT=2
