Most i seen was 266kw from my car 25psi dropping e85 and that was with the larger rear housing .86
Stock bottom end sr but
I would reccomend going the atr28ss2 in bb with .64 rear housing more responsive due to the smaller rear and i made 280kw with this
On a built motor with larger cams and custom exhaust manifold i would see it making 300kw

Action Dan: Yes. the factory exhaust manifold is a restriction and SR needs cams to make power. Plus your usual free flow FMIC, induction and exhaust.

Ask tao im sure he can arrange that
Most results ar from rbs but usually all in by 4000rpm and there only running t3 single scroll
Twinscroll will help alot hence why evos get away with 300kw turbos but are still responsive

This particular SR20det engine is something built by forcedmotor works 4 years ago. It run one of our ATR45SAT turbo compete and won WTAC Open class in 2016 and is still a current world record holder of the fastest SR on Wakefield. Its on a single T3 scroll manifold running external gate, and that pumped 400rwkws on E85 fuel, 28psi by 4250RPM. Far as I know its just a standard rebuild, no VCT with forged pistons with 264  / 256 Tomei Pro cams. For around 350rwkws mark I will be recommending this turbocharger.

Some results to share, This time is from Justin's drift car running with one of our ATR45SAT ceramic ball bearing turbocharger.

R33 GTST unopened engine.

HyperGear Atr45SAT Ceramic ball bearing turbo

6 boost manifold

Turbosmart 45mm Gate

Ebay 600x300x100 Cooler

ID 1000cc Injectors

460 lph Fuel Pump

3 inches turbo back exhaust

Haltech ECU

E85 fuel

Car made 397rwkws @ 21psi on a conservative tune for stock engine. Should see 420rwkws at full potential.

I would high flow the factory turbocharger using a ball bearing core with a G2 or a SS15 profiled wheel sets. the SS15 is a better choice for power and response.

For the best result use an Rb25det turbo. For a Ball bearing, billet wheel Ss15 profiled highflow looking at $1500 to complete including oil line.

    • Nah. You need 2x taps for anything that you cannot pass the tap all the way through. And even then, there's a point in response to the above which I will come back to. The 2x taps are 1x tapered for starting, and 1x plug tap for working to the bottom of blind holes. That block's port is effectively a blind hole from the perspective of the tap. The tapered tap/tapered thread response. You don't ever leave a female hole tapered. They are supposed to be parallel, hence the wide section of a tapered tap being parallel, the existince of plug taps, etc. The male is tapered so that it will eventually get too fat for the female thread, and yes, there is some risk if the tapped length of the female hole doesn't offer enough threads, that it will not lock up very nicely. But you can always buzz off the extra length on the male thread, and the tape is very good at adding bulk to the joint.
    • Nice....looking forward to that update
    • Neg, the top one is actually for the front. The sizes are 18x10.5 +18 and 18x11 +32.   I measured many times but I'm sure I'll have problems as this is the thread for problems.
    • Just one thing; tapping tapered threads is tricky. Taps are always tapered and you would generally run it as far as you can, but with a tapered thread you have to stop much sooner otherwise the wide part of the taper will run in too far and you will have to thread the sensor in too far too as well (possible that it will never make a good seal) BTW nice wide wheels, I guess the top one is for the back!
    • Welp, good to know. Will have to wait awhile until steady hands with drills and taps are available. In other news, these just arrived! I will weigh them for posterity. Edit: 11kg each (or 10.9/11.1 depending on what my scale decides over multiple tests, the 18x11 don't seem to weigh noticeably any more than 10.5)
