the 3.5L were only available in the PM35

so its for a PM35. we called it a PM as the P means later model or something which we seem to call a 'series 2' in other cars.

My understanding after trawling for Sway Bar part numbers is;

M35 & PM35; both RWD as these share front end components with 2WD V series & Z33.

NM35 & PNM35 both AWD. Obviously, as you say; "P" denotes series 2.

  • 4 weeks later...

I can get map tracer software and writer for reflash M35 ECU but cost around$6000-$7000.

Software and writer( writer is for only M35) is for import ECU (in Japan)only.

So probably software can not use Australian Z33 Z34 etc ecu.

This means I think English software and writer can not use M35.

How many people want to realtime remap ?

If many people in Sydney I can buy it.

Or Im thinking me and Japanese tuner(he is in Japan) joint then make map for Australia fuel.

Is this interesting?

I have M35 std data so I know about M35 map.

But I do not have writer so Im thinking joint to Japanese tuner.

Me and Japanese tuner will make map for Australia fuel.

How much would you like pay reflash ecu.(your ECU send to Japan and install map data for Australia fuel)

Main thing is to remove throttle restriction and speed limit Toshi. If you can do that you'll have a queue!

A map for Australian fuel taking into account our mods, and being able to be done in Australia, is very appealing.

How much are you looking at charging? How much would you have to charge to make it worthwhile?

Correct, the fuel and timing would be good but I have an Emanage for that. Im interested in a remap of the throttle to connect it to my foot inputs. It seems reflash companies in Japan charge a premium for that so perhaps its difficult to do? What sort of time frame as I need it within a few months Toshi.

If I have tools I can remove speed limiter.

What is remove throttle restriction?

Are you talking about electric throttle?

Do you want to open faster than std?

I know throttle map so I think its able to open faster but power is same.

Looks like std map not good response around 3500rpm and 4800rpm if boosted up.

So ecu map need remap for Australia fuel.

I do not know how much can I charge.

So Im asking.

Well we'd obviously like it as cheap as possible Toshi, but you need to stay in business! Do your sums and work out how much you need to charge?

G-Zone charge about $450+ depending on spec for a complete remap.

We discussed this in a different thread last week and there were a lot of people with Emanage's who would be interested in just removing throttle and speed limiter, not a remap. Is this possible?

G-Zone quote that price on their web site. Check out the recent thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/362400-g-zone-for-m35s/

44,000 yen ($506) for a standard remap, plus 20,000 yen ($230) for throttle restriction removal and speed limiter removal. Most people on here just want the second part, they don't need the first part because they have an Emanage. Not sure if that's possible?

And yes, below 3000 rpm for throttle restriction.

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
