It's obvious your team of "professionals" can help you lighten your wallet.

If you want I'll do the work on your car - we'll start with an RB20DE head add a 30 bottom end and a T88 - using the standard computer we should make about 1,200 rwkw, easy should need a full rebuild maybe just a degreasing...

The standard RB20 gearbox and clutch should hold up for a minute or two, so don't worry too much about that we can always add a shortshifter.

Just deposit the $$ in my account and it should be done by 5pm. Trust me I say I'm a professional.

Wouldn't the whole 30psi on C16 fuel thing to get 500rwkw really negate the car as a viable streeter? I can only imagine the lag lol.

You should probably talk more to a reputable engine builder and state that you want 500rwkw etc (im hoping it's not the same one who supported you getting a supercharger lol), they should be able to give you a ballpark quote, I imagine it will be insanely expensive too.

IIRC the T51R is $2600 as a bare turbo in the Garrett version or about $4000 for the HKS version through Nengun.

Well she does ask for advice but then bangs on about her engine builder and mechanic say this and that etc etc etc. While a forum may not be the be all and end all of advice, surely looking at examples of what other people have done to reach that sort of power figure must be indicative of the work/money involved.

The other thing is I don't like the idea of someone going from a N/A to 500RWKW :S

I've been monitoring this from post one and I'm surprised to see the comments go this far. I don't know whether the Mod is on holiday or not but if people were sandbagging an ethnic group or a religious faction, this would have come to a halt pretty damn quick.

It's getting as bad as NissanSilvia.com with their flaming and abusive tendencies towards newbies asking first time questions. They think they're better than others because they have a bit of experience.

Guys, so what if she's going to be making a big financial mistake. It's her money and if she loses a shitload, then it's her fault for not taking the advice of the knowledgeable people giving it.

I'm sure there's a few who have gone the wrong way with a modification and paid the price for the direction that they took, but you learn from that mistake, pick yourself up and stride forward.

If a guy was to do the same thing and asked for advice I'm sure that the pathetic remarks made by some in this thread would not have come to bear.

It sounds more to me like a bunch of dudes trying to take this woman for a ride because she is a woman (and don't bullshit around here, mechanics and car dealers do this ALL the time), us trying to give helpful advice and then being told we're sexist for it!!!
