Hey mate, sorry for the late reply.

If you see this message, gimme a sms or something on 0434 502 855. And as for my sau sticker, it's an official sau-vic members only sticker :D

Thought I'd see what all this Carbon Fibre Vinyl Wrap was all about so picked myself up some and started to play around with it.

Surprised how easy it is to work with and heating it up makes it so much easier to curve it around the edges and all.

That....is....awesome.

Yeah once I get hold of a gtr wing i'll be getting the blade done for sure!

Also, what sort of job could you do on the lower front lip on a R33 GTR? Mine's sagging in the middle so got to get some aluminium bolted to the inside for strengthening then thinking either the black vinyl or cf.

Any one have any advice on the quality of the cabon below, just bought a flush mount boot for the 33 and im thinking doing a carbon wrap will be cheaper and easier than painting, i know that every seems to use 3M but i cant find any big enough (1x1.4m min) but have found these 2.

This one is a dry black.

This shows a wet black in some photos and dry in others, do you have to use other products to make it look wet, undecided on the wet or dry look but leaning towards dry.

Any one use this brand and able to comment on quality?

Hey dude,

The first link looks to me to be some cheap Taiwan stuff (which I have some as well) xD

And the 2nd link looks to be just some flat printed sticker.

With vinyl, you get what you pay for.... I've tried the cheap Taiwan version and not that great compare to the 3M one.

I've got both at home, so if you want some (1m x 1.4m), I can hook you up :P

Give me a price to supply and fit to an R33 flush mount boot which is off the car.

not sure if i missed it but where can i buy this vinyl for a good price?

is this a decent deal?

For full width the postage isn't cheap if packaged well, just rolled over a tube isnt as good as placed in a tube.

Images below are some of my more strange things I have wrapped lately.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
