This car has been built with quality parts with no expense spared so that it can be driven with the A/C on cruising on a nice warm day or you can take it out on the track or drag race it and pull respectable times.

I’ve owned the car for 5 years. It’s garaged and driven on weekends occasionally if the weather is nice.

Reason for selling is that I would like the cash for other ventures.

Not desperate to sell at all but if I get what I want then I am happy to let it go to a good home.

Happy to discuss more with serious buyers only.

Located in Melbourne.

Price: $37,000

Contact: Archie 0419 714444

Will consider trade with non turbo vehicle up to $10k.

wow that seems like drug money for an R32 GTR

How about you look at every sale of the same model car on a case by case basis rather than assuming that if it's model X then it should be $X?

For eg how about I

- put my standard GTR brakes back on and sell my Alcons

- put in the standard interior and sell my leather interior

- put my standard diff back in and sell the Nismo one

- put R34 GTR rims on and sell off the BBS LM's

- etc

I can then drop the price to say around $30k and then perhaps you can compare it to other clean looking 32 GTR's with built motors, otherwise your comment isn't fair.

Besides I didn't even mention all the mods on the car in the ad anyway like the Nismo AFM's i have on and other small things that others would post like ARC oil cap, Cusco radiator air guide, Greddy metal radiator elbow etc etc

But i really don't want to 'bits' the car and would like to think someone can appreciate it with all the niceties it has.

Anyway as i said I'm not desperate to sell at all but if I get what I want then I am happy to let it go to a good home.

gunt,

I know you're looking out for one yourself (from previous threads) but what are you comparing archie's example with?

free bump very nice car.

WOW, one of the cleanest and well modded 32 GTR's in Aus. I can definetly vouch for this car, it looks like new and can pull some very respectable times on the track.

Good luck with the sale Archie, but I hope you keep it!!!!

well....what with the warning and all I am pretty sure I cannot comment.

Not that I was actually PM'ed or emailed that warning - I only saw that warning because I wanted to look at how this sexy looking GTR was going (whilst rabidly checking all sales) and saw the warning with an admin/modifier label attached....

note to to admins/modifiers - possible improvement to process! - maybe include an email for stupid mofos like me on these warnings (besides a msg in that particular thread) and reasons why - it will probably help reduce our numbers.

hopefully this post doesn't violate some aussiesklyine forum free speech ruling either.

Worst case at least it's a free bump.

Additional - would be great to know some tracktimes for this car around VIC raceways (as per JagR33's comment re respectable track times) if that can be provided? ( and yes understand how the driver makes a difference)

Not sure on exact track times but this car is very similar to another forum member's car (BBGTR). Built almost identical to BBGTR's R32GT-R and you can check out his member profile for times...

Now I'm not saying the car above has done the exact same times but if Archie was a frequent track junkie (like BBGTR) they would be on par with eachother...

Hope that helps....

Car was bought as a single turbo setup back in 2004 and with this set up it did:

Calder 1.04

Phillip Island 1.51

Sandown 1.23

Converted back to twin set up in late 2007

Winton 1.37

Engine rebuilt mid 2008

Sandown 1.23 (damp track surface and hardly pushing it)

No track days in 2009 as i was saving coin for my overseas trip. Car garaged, hooked up to the battery trickle charger and hardly driven. Still took it in for servicing and got things fitted like the Nismo diff because i have a sickness and enjoy spending money on my car. :)

Archie, shame to see it go, it's the only other 32 in Vic that I would put up against mine for workmanship and attention to detail. They don't come much better.

To add some addtional comments on the reliability of this setup, I have not opened my bonnet between services except to let it cool at the track for over 10,000k's and that includes 16 track days over the last 18 months. My engine was built at the same time as Archies.

Regards

Andrew

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
