Fvcking joke!

How is defecting cars keep the road toll down?

That is the biggest, lamest, excuse and they ain't doing themselves any favors.

>_<

Come on people WTF! Your first clue is "centre" mispelt as "center" in the first line of it. I thought us Skyline folk were smarter than this!!! :P

BAHAHAHAHHA what a tool! goes to show...even the people enforcing the law slip up... i dont believe he got fined n crap its just to make the public happy... i think due to human error.. at least 5 kays over the limit should be ignored.. not like 3 kays..

neway that's just my opinion.

How come it's 3 points for 10km over?

I thought it's only 2 points for 10-15km over the limit?

Used to be that way, it's not 3 points for over 10km/h.

The idea behind 3km/h is a threshold for incorrect speedos. According to the law you shouldn't be anywhere near the speed limit as it's just a limit and not the speed you're supposed to be doing, i.e. approximately 5km/h under according to TAC advertisements

From the Herald Sun article

"On this occasion I was very lucky - I didn't drift into a tree, I got snapped (by a speed camera).

Exceeding a posted speed limit ≠ drifting into a tree.

Normally I dont insult people on a personal level but this guy is a downright moron. I shudder to think how he could further ruin the state. I couldn't write a fictional article with that level of stupidity and idiocy within.

"I need to be more aware. I'm luckier than a lot of Victorians who weren't. I'm still here to talk about it.

"Lots of people die in exactly those kinds of circumstances.

"It's been a valuable lesson for me."

that made me lol

Yer i read that and i was thinking the same. What happens if its 20 km over u fly off a cliff lolz to this bad

think he was saying that he was tired from driving in the country town, so he didn't notice the sign. and apparently that lets him preach about dozing off at the wheel which could result in people going into trees.

christ. nooblet got a speeding fine for going 10 over. way to turn it into something totally non relevant.

i better not type any more, cos my key stroke could distract the fly that carries the bacteria which could mutate into zombie flu, making it land into my co worker's coffee, thus starting a chain of reactions that will result in a zombie apocalype.

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
