fair enough funky, after an E8400 processor as a final incremental upgrade to my current fatteh database, from then on it's going to be 64 bit all the way!

fixed :)

(note: i know f**k all about computers so if thats not supposed to be for a database, flame away :))

im sure it is and im sure there is plenty of R&D behind it

but you gotta ask yourself how is that intercooler efficient

to me it says, the minimum intake temp on the outlet pipe will always be 80deg minimum (as its the water temp from the core next to it)

im such a noob,

my rear tyres are on backwards

that is, they rotate opposite to the directional arrow

they must have been like this for ages

LOL yeah that is pretty bad...

I didn't realise my brother put all my wheel nuts on backwards (taper facing out) until my mechanic rang me and lol'ed. Surprised they hadn't worked their way off.

Really, and H00N wants to learn how to accidentally do it?

I said people like you, not you.

Cuzza it shits me when it happenz... i jus take my foot off the accelerator... i wanna knw how ppl jus carry on lik dat... happened real bad to me one.. was in the centre of the road... ACROSS... Din do ne shit on purpose n was so close to the tram stop guardin rail... wish it never ever happens to me again...

you try no wheel spin in a car with a 6 puk button clutch in pouring rain..

and no offence but when i accidently ran into you on the road, you tailgated me from the lights.

hardly 'safe' and 'responsable' road driving if you ask me, guess that wasnt intential being a bee's dick away from my bumper.

anyways.

good meet. next time, ALI'S KEBABS !!!

I have a button clutch...I also have 205 tyres with 50% tread...and a turbocharger...yet I still manage to avoid slip in the wet and I wouldn't call myself a pro. But I'm not talking about accidental slip on take off anyway, I was referring to people intentionally losing traction in the wet...which is exactly what H00N implied with his first post, particularly with the "learning how to do it" remark. As I said before, if that was not the case, then forget about my comments regarding it.

Tailgated? Get real mate...the closest I got to your vehicle was during a merge into the right lane from a left hand merging lane and there was atleast 3 metres between our cars at all times. Funny also that you didn't bring this up at the service station we both stopped at - for there was your opportune moment to offer me some constructive criticism on my driving rather than waiting for a thread to come up where I piss you off.

It's easy...get some nice grippy tyres...slip your clutch...drive slowly in the wet. I'd be happy to show you how it's done sometime. But do you want to learn how to avoid these "skids" altogether or do you want to learn how to do them and recover from them like all potential road toll statistics champion street drifters?

How much you want to pay for a 2nd hand one?

You could have mine, it's lapped as well, runs 4.3ghz daily for nearly 2 years without a drama (it's cooled very well) so it's a good little chip :)

Ok eagle bar you can skip once at least and plus I've been too many times and over it haha. Thursday night, friday night and saturday arvo I'm free. Lets choose an official day guys :)

Y don we take a quick vote...??? like a poll open until tomo night for thursday, friday or sat kebab meet... and pick da day when most ppl can make it... but u have to choose the time first... is dat good enough...??? dat jus came outta da blue... lolzz...

    • I thought it could be an issue because the standard plate was flexing when stressed. Maybe the original gear set will hold a bit better without flex? Last time on the dyno it made around 670nm at the hubs. Now it have bigger turbo and better intake but have not been on a dyno yet. The car is being used from family trips to drag race events. So the shifts can be a little violent. It is grinding if I shift to fast so was thinking I should overhaul it soon.
    • From the factory on RB26s there's a fitting on the intake manifold collector/"plenum" that provides pre-throttle boost signal. That's how they did it back in the day, I figure it's fine to replicate it.
    • I would be surprised if that wasn't the issue. It's probably telling you, that even if you remove the plastic liner, you may have some other clearance issues that may occur too in some scenarios. IE, tyre to guard. It looks like someone has already rolled the lip, but you may still have issues in the future IE, turning and hitting a bump etc. The fact it changes how bad it makes the noise when you are going backward vs forward is highly indicative that it's the tyre rubbing. They do make a terrible sound, even if you're only pushing a project car that has a liner hanging down on a tyre!   Has the car been lowered? If it has been, what is the measurement from the centre of the wheel hub to the lip of the guard straight up?

    • Mark's a bit smarter than people give him credit... He'd convince the person that is to become dead, to drive him to the forest first. That way his car has no evidence in it, and he's free to dispose of their vehicle permanently how he sees fit too...
