I'll make it back to a (pancake) duck meet one day

You gotta new car yet?

Just picked up my new SSRs  They're kinda farked (gutter rash, little dings) but should be easy enough to repair.

And Thuy says hi Hamish :P

Pics when on car.

When I can sell my f*cking Supra I'll get tyres and put the wheels on the car.

I've dropped my price by $2500 now and still no bites.

That will teach you to buy a N/A Supra.

:P

Good luck selling it, you'd need it.

neways are pretty cheap and well good at repairing gutter rash

That's who Nick suggested. I don't know when I'd find the time or a transport car to get over to their shop though :P

Is there any decent places in Dandenong?

But how bad is it? I have rash on mine that I bought for a steal from Thuy, it doesn't bothe me at all...

how did u win that gorgeous thing, pat?

haha entered into an employee competition (i work at cadbury)

Lucky for me, everyone is too busy working to bother with the competition

Opening it up, its actually 5x 2kg blocks. Which makes sense cause the production line isnt setup to create such a huge block! (cadbury blocks made in tasmania)

You can buy them from here;

Some scratches are pretty deep and there are some actual dings.

Plus I want every aspect of the car to be looking 100% (hence why I bought all new plastics, lights etc. when I didn't really need to) so yeah, I'll be anal about these wheels too.

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
