Is it from the USA Food Store?

lol nah i was walking around doncaster westfield with the gf and in the food court there was some food place which had all these american chocolates, candys and drinks!

next time ill try a cherry cola! lol :)

Thanks for the reply Paul yeh I thought so as well the guy said that he never had it on car but the guy he bought it from said it was a pro.. but I doubt it.. pretty sure itll just be a normal one.

As for series 3 midnight purple good luck I looked for ages! I saw that one come up on carsales after I got mine but the thing that got me was that it was a 96 with xenons which as far as i know (correct me if im wrong) 97 and 98s came out with them only? so maybe a accident or something? :s

I always thought:

95 GTR series 1

96 GTR series 2

97-98 GTR series 3

I'm glad I got a 06/98 built 33 :)

even then it was only certain months of 97. I have 03/97. One of the first. If it's a 96 it's a series 2. Easiest way to tell though is interior trim if still standard. Red and black/grey= series 3, blue and black/grey= series 1 and 2

yeah just want 96, 97, 98 purple with xenons

dont care about the rest, can change / fix / alter accordingly

this is bang on

Yo Bluejeans!

Planet Chocolate!

(Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe not included) :P

The orange pack of Reese's was from a shop called "Sweet As" I thought that was the place you were talking about.

Until I went to JB-HI and while buying Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe, I placed the pack of Reese's on the counter and the pretty girl who served my started talking about the shop you went to = Planet Chocolate!

:P

ahah awesome man!

ahh so now i know the name of the place! :ermm:

lol i need to lash out and get lots like you did!

ahah i just bought some milk duds from the place in surrey hills so ill see how they are!

Yeah man!

$3 a can (fucking expensive but you'd get it anyway) :ermm:

Or you buy 4 cans for $10.

There were a lot more drinks too like a bottle of Blue Creaming Soda (which I bought 1 time at the USA Food store in Moorabbin)

More candy and chocolates to the point that no matter what you buy, it is all sugar.

What's the place called in Surrey Hills?

I should check that out and you all know about the Original Lolly Store?

There is 1 in Collingwood on Smith Street and they got a fridge full of imported drinks too.

umm im not sure what the place is called :P but i know exactly where it is and been their a few times (its in mailing road near all these antique and 'posh' shops >,<

nah i dont know the original lolly store :P

lol

*this thread is now about candy!

    • Possibly avoid using a Cometic one unless the deck/head surface are perfectly flat. I did have a look just then and forgiving gaskets such as Tomei or Nitto don't exist for the FJ20, however the Bar-Tek or Kameari ones look good and might do the trick.
    • Because pipe threads for pipe things. M threads for bolt things. Throw some teflon sealant onto it and dust your hands off knowing you did the right thing, instead of going twice around the block to achieve a result using the wrong things. Of course, all of these solutions are ignoring the fact that the minimum thread pitch we're talking about here is 1.25mm, with the 1/4" in NPT or BPS being out around 1.4mm. You will need to know that the boss you're tapping has enough thickness for at least a few threads. That's one of the reasons that 1/8" is commonly used - because the pitch is <1mm. And why would you look to use 1/4" NPT in a BSP country anyway? Ugh.
    • Just throwing around ideas, does it need to be in the compressor cover? Why not the hot side piping?
    • 1/8NPT drill size = 8.7mm. Since the hole got messed up by me, it’s probably around 9mm.    So 1/4” NPT would be next step. A drill size of around 11mm would be preferred there which is not way of my M12 (drill 10.5mm and tap M12 threads)
