Why do you work so much man?

I'd rather get less money and have more free time. If you're not out enjoying life then what's the point?

HAHAHA!!! I enjoy dont you worry.. :P ...and sif i work hard when i am at work...i am more on this forum than actually trying to work...so getting money to sit around and do nothing...i dont mind... :P

I can bypass the proxy server, which means i can get onto what ever site i want but then i'll just get in trouble so not worth it anyways i sometimes just use this method for a picture i really want to see or something not sitting on facebook at work or anything

How do you bypass the proxy server? Other than the obvious option of using proxy sites.

Get off the f**king facebook and do some work :P

But atleast it keeps you "busy" during the day...

Eh... I make my boss MILLIONS. I think I'm entitled to a little bit of entertainment to keep me sane while I maintain a database of over 50,000 clients and add a further 200+ a day :P

How you do that? easy to do?

Well my workstation computer has XP (like most would) and has restrictions for my user account obviously and the internet browser runs through a proxy setting ie. proxy.internal.xxx.net.au on port 8080 which your company sets up and blocks sites such as facebook so when your accessing facebook with your computer its like "nah dude you cant do this at work category: social networking or what ever"

All I do is just login with remote desktop to our database server and use the browser there.. has no need for proxy settings in it at all and have complete access like you would at home

Hmm.. Seeing as I love black but can't afford a full respray - what about half and half?

I'm thinking black roof, bootlid and spoiler...

Boot/spoiler like this: http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m79/gre...R2/P1000798.jpg

Roof like this: http://i723.photobucket.com/albums/ww231/grk801/IMG_0010.jpg

My car just got resprayed in red about a year ago :P And I wouldn't mind doing the whole exterior again... Just don't wanna pay for engine out, door jams etc...

bah sent a letter to EPA requesting a warning due to being on business trip for the past 3 weeks. Just got a letter saying, they wont fine me but still need to clear EPA :D

Guess i'll be trailing the car up to motorkhana this weekend and then deal with the whole epa hassles

Anyone got a factory r32 airbox, factory r32 catback and factory ecu they willing to sell/lend me?

Thanks

Ouch pat. I got done for a defect. Hopefully no EPA follows :s

no goods. I got driver dynamics track day on 16th October. So have to restore everything to stock, clear the epa and put everything back on in 3 weeks! zzz

lol, I know, jspec sold the one I was looking at!!!! (I knew the site being down was bad luck!) I sent them an email with my preference and the next time one comes up I think I'll grab it. Then I'll get a tow bar. And pull my loves on the back. lol. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
