thats what nisskid recomended with stock guards and low.. any chance sedans are different?

not sure if different on sedans but, I had scrubbing issues with 17x8 +30 with 235/45 tyres

Had to drop to 225/45's to reduce scrubbing

You are going another inch wider and +20, that will be an interesting fit.

The r33 GTR rims are 17x9 +30. Have a look through the r32 image thread for those rims on the r32. That will give you an idea if there is room for +20

got an invoice for my bodykit from VW US. Including shipping to oz it's $1500 cheaper than what VW AU wanted for the same thing.

Fucking muppets.

Mohsen, fuck you and your fucking pipedreams. Buy a car. Until then I ain't giving you any advice on nothing.

kris is right there....

be smart man...

having said that... pat's a fag... those wheels will fit easy... just need to flare more\

why people are afraid of flaring guards on a ~10k car is beyond me... just man up ffs

you wanted aggressive fitment, Rekin runs pretty mild fitment.

the reason why his scrubbed is:

A: he was running a big tyre

B: his guards werent roll enough/right

C: his suspension was too soft

with 17x9 +20 u will be running a 215/45, hard suspension, then u will go at ur guards, just enough to make them fit (rolling and slight pulling in areas). when i talk about stock guards there i mean rolled guards as it's kind of a given if u want any sort of aggressive fitment. u wont need to flare to get a 17x9 +20 under.

might have to do something about my spring rates. or do i hope it'll tuck on launch? she squats atleast an inch

getting aggressive fitment on soft suspension is farkin hard, doable, but hard. if u want the aggressive look, then harder springs are ur best bet. but realistically u wanna be going harder dampers as well.

im gonna see how far i get with what i have because i like the ride atm. but i could also do with less roll in corners. its the SK gb spec bilsteins/whiteline fyi.

im running 18x10 +19 all round, 235 and 245. lipped and slightly pulled. no scrubbing cos of how high it is but next thing on the list is low

the circlip adjustment is just the start of ur woes, the biggest problem is they use the standard hats, by having the top spring seat sitting down so low, ur spacing the suspension up, lifting ur car effectively.

u need to turn this:

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
