I haven't cut the pieces from where the vents and exhaust cutouts were before yet.. all done in polyurathane, just like factory :D no bog, not putty, no fibreglass.

if youre gonna buy a beemer that looks as pretty as a human foreskin cos you've got a limited budget, you might as well go back another generation and get an E30 M3 2.5L.

lol E30 M3s cost just as much as an E46 M3...

Do you guys wire up new houses or just maintenance and installations etc in existing houses?

and it probably would break down + front tires are almost down to belts, so shouldn't drive it anywhere I don't need too...

f**k that, not much to do in Shepparton and the drive is boring as well

all of the above.

and yes it was a shit drive so i caught up with my brothers at Lorne instead

once again, are z32s THAT bad?

No.

in other news, if you're thinking of taking on a 6l v8 on the freeway, don't bother lol

Does anybody know if the 'heads up' display as found in an s13 Silvia could be modified to suit my skyline. I want one, but not really interested in paying an exorbitant amount of money if it can be avoided.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
