Thanks. I reduced the price again I think that's where the renewed interest has come from.

Parting the Pulsar is going good so far; the coilovers, EDFC and the whole interior went last weekend. Most performance/cosmetic parts come off this weekend and I've received deposits for them. Engine and gearbox don't have buyers yet but I assume once they're out they'll be easier to sell. Then in a few weekends time an N/A engine and gearbox go in the car, I'll get a few bits painted and tidied up and I'll sell the whole working car as an N/A SR which should interest the younger market as it'll be a quick N/A car with nice paint, kit, etc. Easier to sell it this way.

Yeah, selling N/A car is easier these days, good to know it's going smoothly.

Yeah around there Grant, it creeps up a bit then settles back down to about 17 by redline (stupid split dump pipe)

Change the dump pipe or live with the boost creep?

You have EBC?

Question for Alex / Billy:

Have you got any pics of your exhaust like underneath? thinking about going dual tips a bit like you guys cos it looks bad ass from the Tuesday meet pics, and also the other reason is so I can lower it a bit more without this HKS thing almost hitting the ground it hangs so low. Any info would be good cheers :)

shouldn't have any clearance issues with 3" straight pipes

mine's also twin tip/blast pipes but after that its 3.5inch and has a mid muffler. hits the ground on most roads and bumpy freeways, been told by following motorists that it makes some pretty cool sparks though when it scrapes at night

lol f**k you kents

jamie- shes got work -.- cockfest...

Someone from country Vic wants to look at my Skyline in a couple of weekends time. Sounds positive. I hope they buy it :)

good luck! if they low ball you send them my way :P

good luck! if they low ball you send them my way :P

Obviously :P But I very much doubt they would judging by the type of person they are. I have my fingers crossed. There's nothing wrong with the car, anyone who comes out to see it will realise that :)

external gate gogo

no chance! turbo doesn't have too much more to give anyway, would be waste of moneyz

It's manageable atm, might look into getting a new dump fabbed up eventually.. and yes EBC

Anyone is a accountant?

Cos I'm thinking of going to tafe/uni and enter as mature age entry (no year 12) and would like to know what it'd require for me to handle it.

I just finished my accounting degree :)

Great, some q's for you.

What sort of degree do you have?

To make a edge out of competetiors (When lining up for job interviews), what additional degrees would be handy?

Typically, how many hours in TAFE/Uni do you attend?

I could ask TAFE/uni these sort of q but they'll just lie to get numbers so I'd better off ask someone who have go through it.

I have got a bachelor of business with a major in accounting with professional recognition.

The accounting degree Is all you will need to get a job. The only problem is that you have to start at the bottom and then after a couple years you can move into a higher paying position as a senior accoutant. If you manage to get a graduate position it would be awesome as it's normally with a big company that pays well to pretty much train you. Also if you do 2 more economic subjects you can actually have a dual degree majoring in accounting and finance which I'm sure will help with any banking positions

Hours at uni where typically:

Lectures 4 x 1.5-2 hour lectures a week

Tutorials 4 x 1.5-2 hours tires a week

To tell you the truth I barely went to any lectures

So you're basically hitting the books or there's some sort of virtual classes?

So no point in going to lectures?

And doesn't the degree take 4 years to complete?

BTW, you went to uni or TAFE?

I used to watch lectures online but go to the tutorials as that's where you actually learn things. It's a 3 year degree and its uni

Ah ok which uni did you go?

Planning to do it in next semester or next year. First thing first, ask around asking how they run their course fees etc.

And thanks for answering bunch of questions.

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
