My reply is burried in the quote. Damn iPhones

your car is the worst to try an become a drift car

can buy a cheap 32 taxt for like $5-6k rwd manual turbo

u bought it for less than that! Cars don't equal profit

exactly

I love the paranoia people get when they own a Skyline. It's like they need to make their car something bad-ass and 'underground' in their head.

I never ONCE got pulled over and I drove my car day in day out for 3-4 years.

that thing was loud to lol :P

agree

ive only been pulled over and hassled twice - had my

once for bald tyres fair enough

other was through a bretho and fair enough loud exhaust

otherwise fine, driving near cops or next to cops etc

Loll attention grabber.

Did anyone get a pm re the nationals??

Hiya Mohsen,

You may want to change your signature from 2011 Skyline Nationals to 2011 SAU Nationals.

Skyline Nationals is a registered incorporation, and also a web domain owned by another person. You are infringing on the incorporations act by using the name "Skyline Nationals"

Cheers

Incorporations Act? When you find that, let me know, i'll show you my collection of rocking horse shit

Word. Had mine for about half a year on Ps too, went through a couple booze bus setups and they didn't say a word, just checked my P plates were up and that's it

Only 4 door 32 ive ever liked was Nick's old car. Thing was neat and subtle.

As for getting pulled over, wrong place/time you'll always get done, doesn't matter how you drive. Having a black, white, silver etc car also helps cos it doesn't catch the copper's eye as much as something like bright red...

on my p's got pulled over like 30 times current car doesnt get driven enough but been pulled over once got 1 defect i dont agree its "how you drive" depends how stock your car looks

I disagree, my car didn't look stock at all.

I think it's WHERE you drive/hang around

My car was modded (and looked modded) was loud and I didn't mind giving it a squirt on the street...Obviously if a cop happened to see me give it a squirt the chance of me gettin pulled over is gonna increase a fair bit, but apart from that, I rekin majority of it is WHERE you hang out/drive

Dezz was in your hood yesterday, Hoppers? worst roads i've ever driven on. makes the ring road feel smooth as f**k

lol yeah they're f**ked...the ones around my house are like they poured the asphalt and tar on the ocean..

it's good having a beater car that just bounces over it all without a problem...

If I drive in the same direction as a cop I will get pulled over. No doubt about it. I don't give a suit anymore Neways because I know they are too dumb to find any mods/defects :)

Your car looked liked a stock black series 2 with wheels and a zort. Looked nice but does look "stock" to most people

your car looked clean but looked stock really, i use to get pulled over everywhere/anywhere williamstown, newport (50 meters from home), altona, chapel street everywhere it didnt matter. Was just sitting in a parking lot a few times and still got the treatment

SMG hydraulic pump ~5K to replace

SMG clutch ~4K to replace

SMG gearbox ~10K to replace

need a second job..

thats what happens when you buy 140K+ cars man what you expect

So you'd get hassled in a modified import when all you were doing was cruising on chapel street or at the beach or parked in parking lots standing around...

Some things are a mystery.

Note: I'm not saying I agree with it, chances are you were minding your own business doing nothing wrong, but you can't be surprised...

twas very frustrating, just when you think its getting smoother and you start moving more than 10km/h....bang! you drive into a fkn hole

beater car sounds like a good idea

true. price of cars drop but cost of repairs/parts/maintenance dont. could go manual and save the headaches but i want the sequential

what about driving back home from the shops on Sunday at 4pm and copping a full epa :(

/sux to be in Knox council.

Times pulled over;

- Driving to Kmart on Sunday evening = defect

- Driving to Status Tuning after work on Wednesday = defect

- Driving back home from shops on Sunday afternoon = defect

- Driving back home from shops on Sunday afternoon = epa

- Looking for carpark on chapel street for dinner on Thursday evening = license check and on you go :domokun:

Majority of my defects/epas have occurred on Sunday afternoons. I dont like Sundays

    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
