has it always been like that? Did the seller say it had diff turbos? If he didnt why would u not say so to warrant higher sale price? Easies way is to check the markings on the compressor cover. But u said coilpacks are f**ked? When does it misfire

to be honest cant remember how long its been like this but as long as I can remember, basically got the car imported through a private importer but he didn't know of any changed turbos as such and being my first turbo car it wasn't until i actually looked at dyno threads that i realized its hitting full boost very late the car misfires coming onto boost or generally struggles at low revs when warming up especially changed plugs and no change so waiting for splitfires now.. but as Hamish said waiting for nengun is >_<

how hard is it to check markings what shit do i have to take off

and if it were a leak wouldn't the car not make it to 1 bar on my gauge?

nah it will still reach target, just laggy as the pressure leaks constantly during build. Mine did the same just a touch laggy and lacked some zest

ah yeh makes sense will go have a look at a few things

Guess what? Something you guys will never think I would do :O. Greddy type s coilovers (hamishs recommendation) ordered from jap land. Then some whiteline adjustable sway bars are next :D

Nice man, i got swaybars on their way too

Are you still going for an e85 tune?

I would love to do more low! But then that would have to park the car outside cuz it won't get into the secure parking in my appartment. :( there will be heaps more low when I get my own place with a good driveway :)

:D :D

eh tightened and checked every clamp i could still no change fml, maybe ill just wait for coilpacks and see if they make any difference

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
