i did the rest myself.

makes sense. my mechanic did EVERYTHING on the car for me. ordered and fitted parts, flushed and changed all fluids, filters and spark plugs. made sure everything is working the way its meant to. im happy with paying that much for a job well done.

why pay someone to do something you can easily do yourself at home

i do oils, plugs and filter every 5-7Ks anyway. brake pads take me 20mins to change over

if i had the right tools i woulda done eveything else myself.

but hey if you dont mind paying nothing wrong with that

mine was $1800 on the evo, brakes, fuilds, belts, ayc bleed and etc etc

was a fair bit of work involved, and thats the generalish price to do a 100k service

And yeah, I basically do my plugs / engine oil and basic stuff but rest CBF.

I live in apartments.

The amount of space i have to work in, is basically the size of a GTR. It just fits in the carpark dimensions as it is.

So clearly not going to happen.

The labour for all of mine was around $300 - so the fact it would have literally taken me ALL day to do it in such a confined space, that's just how it goes for me.

I've done my own services in the past etc, but sometimes it's just not feasible as time is money.

What crack have you been smoking? The going rate for labour is normally $80+ per hour, they probably pay their workers less than $25 per hour but I don't know any stupid enough to charge so little.

Just to clarify, the bonnet latch handle in he r32s, is It one piece from the front of the bonnet to the cabin? Or can I undo It and buy a new handle.. Need one for road worthy..
