Will chuck up couple of pics when I finally get rid of ugly ass 400R bumper + skirts.

So far, I'm telling myself to do zorst, BPU and PFC.

But wanting more power badly...

Got coilovers but am swapping for harder ones this w/end.

Got wheels that I impulse bought a while ago only to find out it's sunken on stock height even though it's 10.5" wide! So different wheels will be purchased.

Also on wish list, Nismo cluster, xenons (unlikely), turbos, blah blah blah....

Good start and eventually you will get it all together.

What wheels you get?

is it just me or is facebook starting to look like it's been run by a bunch of 12 year olds? what's with all the pathetic pages/groups? ffs

deactivation is in order i reckon

Facebook = New Myspace.

what wheels u grab ?

At the moment I'm thinking AVS Model T6 in 18x10 (unsure about offset).

And then it's off to DECA right?!?!?!

:P

Don't think I'll take it to DECA again...

Good start and eventually you will get it all together.

What wheels you get?

Yeah.

I've got rough condition Work Meister S1 3 piece, with plans to pretty it up and sell it.

Nbnooooo I like going through your pics <\3

Seriously tho, I agree. It's crap now

And +1 with birds on kicking back and sinking piss with mates. Lulz more than likely ensues

3 piece ehy...

Shift the spokes in a bit to give a negative offset to make the wheel rim poke out a bit :rofl:

What do you mean starting to, it was always populated by dicks. The only time I remember it not being that way was when it first came about and hardly anyone used it, which defeated the point of having one in the first place.

Facebook = New Myspace.

They're all the friggen same anyway. People were delusional to think Facebook was going to be any different. Facebook = MySpace without the glitter.

Have you noticed the revert to MySpace though? There's actually a lot of celebrities, bands and clubs using MySpace pages now because it's no longer the "teeny bopper" site...Facebook is LOL.

Flip it hmm....

I like...

Off to do some maths, offset maths is the best form of maths.

it is indeed crap

in other news, still waiting for my f**king money.

spotted a mint brunette in a black e46 m3 this morning, that sight is way too much win.

Yer there is such a thing as being too perfect/win. So friggen good that it actually looks crap...don't need that shit!

Offering to help your friend find a car and taking her to an importer and recommending a GTR. Wish she would buy one. Would become instant wife material

Without 'test-driving' her?

it wasn't as bad when people weren't making/joining all these homo pages. i think they should just take that whole feature off. i don't mind fan pages dedicated to athletes, musicians etc but the rest need to go.

it's one of those things were i'd rather be outside just looking at it than actually being in the car with the chick. should've taken pics

I hate the age/exp assumption issue. Have to work so much harder for people to take you seriously. Cant wait to be 30+ and even more grumpy. Will see results quickly haha

lol me and the guys on the team run around like we own the place at work, we're all under 30 (3 of us are 29). Then again we dress better than most people at work and are indispensable to the company. The directors love us and the old staff hate us. lol our section made 200% the profit for the company that the next best department did last quarter so we get away with murder.

trader feedback - Slow delivery time, hard to deal with, General asshole... dont buy from this guy

In other news, I got new wheels and had tyres fitted to the rear 17x9.5+18 with a 245/40 and have room for a 255 I reckon ;) wooohoooo

IT Operations. Im sorta T2/T3 support in a way, along with project implementation, incident management, SME for a lot of systems...

I basically do nothing thats in my job description, and everything that isn't.

Yep, its funny how it works huh? do nothing until something stuffs up :P then be stressed to get it back up and running!

I think I'd rather be surrounded by girls lol. Although our little game of COD was quite enjoyable the other night. I can imagine it being pretty fun while drunk. Couldn't play games for 10 hours though.. 2 hours max for me.

During high school once me and a couple of mates had a LAN party and for some reason some chicks from our class wanted to go as well to see what we were on about, so was pretty fun and ended up getting hammered / staying the night / not sitting on computers all night anyway.

LAN = funner with beer.

Also didn't realize SAU had so many nerds :D (I say that in a good way)

    • OK, next the shroud needs to come off and there are a couple of tricks. Firstly, there is a loom from near the passenger side headlight to the fans, coolant temp sensor etc and there is no plug to undo.  In my case I was OK to leave the shroud on top of the engine so I just undid the passenger side fan plug and about 10 of the clips which gave enough free wire to put it aside. The fan plugs were super tight, the trick I used was a small falt screwdriver to push down on the release tab, then a larger flat screwdriver to lever the plug out of the fan unit....be careful with how much force you apply! If you need to remove the shroud altogether for some reason you will have to deal with all the plugs (tight) and clips (brittle)....good luck. I removed all of the clips and replaced them with cable ties that I will just cut next time. Also, in the Red Sport / 400R at least, the intake heat exchanger reservoir hose is bolted to the shroud in 2 places with 10mm headed bolts; so remove them (the hose stays in the car; no need to undo it at the t fittings down at the radiator lower mount. Once you've dealt with the HX hose and the wiring loom, there are 3x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the shroud to the radiator; remove those.   The shroud then lifts out of the bottom mounts where it sits on the radiator, up and onto the engine out of the way. Simples
    • Ok, disregard my “rate them” comment, sorry for my unrealistic input
    • OK, now we are ready to get started. You need to remove the air boxes on each side for clearance. The cover is straightforward, undo the clips on the top and lift the front cover out of the rest of the housing. If it is tight you can remove the air filters first. The rear section of the airbox is trickier. On each side you need to remove the Air flow meter wiring which is held to the airbox with a clip; you need to get behind the clip on 2 sides if you want to remove it without breaking it - unclip the harder side and pull on the clip with medium force, then unclip the easier side and it should pop out The airbox is held onto the intake hose with a spring clamp; you need to get a flat bladed screwdriver behind the spring on both sides and pop them outwards. When you have got them in the right unclipped place they will stay there and the airbox slips out pretty freely. Put a rag in the intake to prevent anything getting dropped in there, and also to prevent you seeing that the turbo seal is leaking oil (as they do). Then. The top of the radiator is held by a steel plate, it is secured by 2x10mm and 2x12mm headed bolts . Remove them and remove the plate Also grab the bushings that hold the radiator to the plate on each side so they are not lost!
    • Next, remove the upper and lower radiator hoses, both are held with a spring clamp. While you are under there, tackle the Auto Trans cooler lines.  Again both are held on with spring clamps, and as mentioned above you should cap them on the radiator side with an 8mm cap, and on the car side loop them with a length of 8mm pipe - this will stop you losing a dangerous amount of AT fluid during the rest of the job If you've been meaning to add a sender for AT trans temp, this is a great time to do it; put a sender fitting into the passenger side line as that is the inlet to the cooler/radiator.
    • Next you need to remove the intake duct (as with pretty much every job on these cars), it is a series of clips you gently remove with a flat bladed screwdriver. They do get brittle with time and can break, and I have not found a decent quality aftermarket one that fits (they are all too soft or flimsy and don't last either) but the nissan ones are a couple of bucks each (ouch).  Once the clips are off (either 8 or 10, I didn't check) you lift the intake duct out and will see the reservoirs Undo the line into the radiator side cap (some bent needle nosed piers are awesome for spring clamps) and then remove the 4x 10m nuts that hold both in place.  I didn't get these pics, but remove the line under the radiator reservoir (spring clamp again) then remove that reservoir. Then you can get at the intake reservoir, same thing, spring clamp underneath then remove it. BTW This is a great time to put in a larger (+70%) combined reservoir that AMS makes..... https://www.amsperformance.com/product/q50-q60-red-alpha-coolant-expansion-tank/ They also make an Infiniti branded and part# version if that is your thing
