NSW: bling +100 offset rims slammed.

VIC; bling -100 offset rims slammed.

Either way, they both seem a rather pointless to me, this "HellaFlush" trend makes me LOL.

what style would you prefer? everyone getting around with gtr/r400 bars and mspec side skirts.. oh and lets not forget the "gtr" wing on the gts-t..and the odd badge for good measure

sickkkkkk :)

meh, i like cars stockish, i wish my car had a gtst front bar.

function over form. functional ride height, functional tyre fitment, not spending money on kits that dont do shit for aero/on cars that dont go on the track etc.

im loving all the hellaflush business.

Next car will def have tuff fittment

sunken is bad, but hellaflush is poser spec. is there no middle ground? lipped guards with normal tyres at functional height?(good geo, clearance etc)

oops, it wont pull the bitches. honestly, when has a "hellaflush" car ever gotten you a quality girl?, or is it about cred with other guys? insecure much?

I am sure for some it could be they're personal taste, but for most it seems to just be a groupy/"trend" thing.

stock looking 32gtst with 33GTR rims= win, stock looking 33/34gtst/gtt with 34GTR rims = win.

i think we have complete opposite ideas on car modifying.

what you have described sounds like stock ugly shit..

i dont see how hellaflush is poser spec at all but whatever if you dont know what your talking about its a pointless converstaion.

who said anything about pulling bitches? is that what your skyline is for.. my car is functional its for sliding.. if i wana pull bitches ill take my lexus out.

in closing you seem like an idiot, you have a baseless argument soo u start talking about pulling bitches?

+1

but it all comes down to the primary use of the car.

If its just being driven as a daily, 200kw-300kw wont do much good in peak hour traffic. Hence they spend money on cosmetics.

The ideal height for perfect handling is 350mm guard to hub and to the majority of skyline owners this is too high. Let them enjoy their style of modification whilst you easily drive over speedhumps hehe :P

When guys in melbourne start aesthetically modding though, that's when the problem comes. They either do it well (hamish's car for example) or they go lebo spec ethnic candy colour with shitty wheels and badly fitted kits.

:D

Whats bad about them?

I heard they are very heavy wheels?

Or are they just shit overall?

the look shit

they are heavy

they look shit

build quality is shit

they look shit

offsets are shit

they look shit

they are heavy

they look shit

so fkn true mang!

300kw wont do much good in peak hour traffic.

does me just fine in traffic ;)

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
