Anyway your loss is my gain. We are all more then happy with the turbos.

Good for you...plenty of us happy with Garrett turbos or for some of us old Trust truck turbos

This whole thread has turned into an infomercial about how much better Precision turbos are blah blah blah

The one thing I hate and may others do too, Is workshops owners coming on here and saying this is the best product ever and if you dont believe me go and get f**ked and wont listen to the other side of the story

Well all I'm reading is people whinge about these turbos and they have never even tried them! and whinging about not being able to use E85. It's like you guys expect a 62mm turbo to make 700hp on 15psi on pump fuel, it's just not going to happen.

It all started when PJ jumped on and showed us all these big power results at "only 33psi" when it was running much more than that.

Of course we are going to question results like that...and I dont know about you But I'm not throwing 2k at a turbo that may or may not perform.

It is good to see some REAL results coming through at normal boost levels though.

However I always take dyno sheets with a grain of salt...eg. I have made over 400kw on a stock turbo RB25 just by moving the temp probe around, but you dont see me running around telling everyone to use RB25 turbos to run 9 sec quarters.

There just isnt enough data on these things yet to convince everyone

and when someone gives a result you get a smartass reply like what gtscott said regarding me post. Don't know why people even bother, more vaginas in here then there is genuine enthusiast's.

Mate you just made my day, I F**KING LIVE for smartass comments, OMFG what I would give for another opportunity to make one. MY LIFE IN A NUTSHELL!!!!!!!!!! Thank god you noticed and pointed it out, OMFG THANK THE son of rajab. I'm f**king foaming at the mouth for it, PLEASEEEEE give me more material to use, PLEASSSEEEE.

Accurately; your comment was your seventh post, you joined 18 days ago, you have a shops banner on your signature like everyone here is meant to know and recognise you after an 8th of a second on this forum and your talking hearsay about what your dads car made.

It might be fact for you, but you look like a workshop promoting a product they intend to sell.

Like Zebra said, this thread is full of sales pitches. If you want to waltz in and make big claims like that bring the proof with you.

I was quite happy when PJ brought his result in, it painted a bigger picture for me than I ever expected. Jump on his band wagon and you will get the credit you deserve.

So because I have a workshop banner in my signature means I own a workshop? f**k you guys really do love jumping into things you have NFI about. I've got more results to but that was an example on pump fuel as you guys were crying about having no figures on pump fuel/moderate boost. Just because I've joined up on this forum and made 7 posts means I know nothing? Lol. Sweet.

26_s13.... just give up mate, u and i know wat these can do, and at the end of the day each to there own- a lil friendly competion never hurt

just a question to ZEBRA... wat turbo do u currently run... the only way i feel u would b convinced is to have some1 lend u there pt xxxx and try for urself....

once again bout on the topic of not enough data to support these "claimed" figures go on some of the american sites, u say the usa dynos read a lil high but the graphs dont lie bout how they come on boost etc- pretty much 75% of us drag cars run PT now

i love this rivalry, lets just keep it friendly and not read into each others posts to much...

cheers

Actually, there is plenty of data around the world of Precision turbos giving good pump gas results and epic race gas results. Anyone reasonable and/or or with half a clue will realise they can make the numbers... I know I've probably linked this in the thread before, but

. On the harshest dyno Oz has to offer, thats going to be making lots and lots of killerwhats.

I am by no means saying this because I have a preference for Precision turbos either, I just hate seeing some of the inaccurate bollux spouted here - if anything I prefer ForcedPerformance's efforts at the equivalent turbos. There are a few good options out there.

Lots of trolls here, I hardly bother unless I'm bored these days.

Actually, no Zebra, they do not make power beyond that (on the cars that we have tested) I’ve seen 397kW on a 2.2L stroker on 31psi though.

Of course people are going to have varied results, I’m yet to understand why the Yanks run 40psi through an FP Red. I’ve never seen one make power beyond 32psi.

I don’t own a workshop either (and never have) if that last post was aimed at me.

You take dyno sheets with a grain of salt, but you could take trap speed with a grain of salt too, as different ratio’s will give a varied figure too.

Regardless of the brand, I share my experiences (real life ones) based on facts and educate people about a product that no one could really shine any light on.

There will never be enough data to convince a skeptic not interested in the product in the first place anyway.

Didn't your s13 make like 568rwkw on 40psi? I *think* you were running a PB turbo, might be wrong though...

EDIT: 586rwkw on 39psi through a "Precision turbo"

Currently my car has no turbos....the T78-33d will be here soon....the think with the yanks is that 2 years ago 70% of US drag cars were using those Master Power turbos...there are as many Fad/Flavor of the month turbo setups over there that I cant keep up.

I would love to try an Precision turbo if it didnt cost me anything...And I have no doubts that what ever the 700hp version of their turbo would be a bit better than the old T78 in the response department

I know you dont own a work shop...but you were posting off the Power Tune Account for half of it...so Posting on behalf of a work shop is same same.

The bit I underlined...too me that sounds kinda like an infomercial...I haven't seen back to back results from you or Power Tune...All I have seen is Pxxxx makes this much power It's awesome.

I would be really happy to see a back to back run on that S14 with a 6262 and a 35R at the same boost...then if the 6262 shat all over it I would be happy to say that the Precision stuff is better...Infact I even looked at buying one instead of the T78...but we all have our preferences

As for S13RBwhateverthef**khisnameis.

Am I doing it right?

Cool story bro.

Am I doing it right?

No but this made me laugh

more vaginas in here then there is genuine enthusiast's.

What makes us any less enthusiast's? What because we don't pull our dicks over the latest product to come out.....What are you going to do when one of the other turbo manufactures come out some some new billet variable vane turbo thing??..you sound like the kinda guy whos favorite sports team is the one that is currently winning

maybe you should go join www.fanbois.com

ok, im no expert but im done my fare share of research and seen alot of products first hand (i used to have a 9.02 @155.9mph vl turbo) to know that the trust t78-33d is a very laggy turbo- look at the motive dvd and see michael from canberras 33gtr who used to have that turbo then switched to the t51r and picked up spool and rwhp with just the turbo change...

im sure it cost u an arm n a leg to.... im not being smart here but u mite as well of gone done to kenworth n pulled a truck turbo off...

2500rpm waiting 3000rpm waiting 3500rpm waiting 4000rpm waiting 4500rpm something is happening 5000rpm here we go 5500rpm almost fullboost 6000 blows tires off n red lines at 8500-9000rpm hmmmmmmmmm

....lol

Nah I'm all good mate just havin a play around. Although I am looking forward to when they bring out VV Billit wheeled turbos, so I can sit on here reading about you and gtscott jerking each other off while throwing hair straightners at the computer screen.

    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
    • Newbie here, proud owner of an Autech 260RS. I'm on the hunt for wiring diagrams specific to the 260RS, particularly S1. I've ran my eyes through R33, R34 Diagrams, there are some similarities, however continue to find incorrect wire colours and pins on connectors in the 33,34 diagrams.   I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I'd be happy to pay for the originals in Japanese. I can translate them, at least they would be accurate.   Any help please would be greatly appreciated, never heard an RB26DETT before let alone driven one, and I've got a spaghetti monster of goodness to sort out.   Cheers Benny
    • Hey all  im wondering if you can help me please I have put a rb20 box in my r34 gtt as my auto packed up and a friend had a spare box I know it’s not ideal but it will get me up and running for now. we have done the conversation and everything is working great but my Speedo we got a s13 speed sensor but my Speedo reads double now and I bought a speed converter but still not having any luck.  so I thought I’ll reach out and pick your brains  any help would be appreciated please as I wanna drive my car again
    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
