If the car is to remain a road car, then it has to have the carbon canister (part of the ADR / EPA requirements). You can fit a small catch can beside the battery.

To remove the A/C, you need to go to a registered A/C place so they can remove the gas - you can't just let it vent to atmosphere.

yo mate, did you get all this done?

for the carbon canister

just want to know what you did with the one underneath the throttle. do you block it?

could you post a pic? what did you replace all the metal tubing with?

I wanted to do it but extending the line to the BOV would make it crazy long.

cheers

I left mine in and when I got my belts done next I got them to take it off. No extra charge and no messing around.

yeh i just ditched all the carbon canister and just left the hard lines.

the air con i did the same thing, removed the pump, lines, condensor everything.

heaps more room infront of the rad. air con in a skyline is over rated!

Depends which gas

r12 and 134a are both bad and lpg is rarely used so unless you use lpg in your air con it unsafe to vent. try breathing it in next time and youll see
