Hey guys,

Just thought we'd give you a look at what we plan to release later this month.

Our 1000hp R32 GT-R intank kit is in the final testing stages now.

It's completely made here in Australia of CNC billet aluminium.

Includes all fittings, relay, fuel pumps, filters, Gates submersible hose

Say goodbye to fuel odour in the cabin, hello to quiet operation and of course no one will even know you have it.

Simply bolt it in and off you go!

It will be priced at $1350

Also in the pipework we have the same kit to suit R33 GT-R, R34 GT-R, R33 GTS-T, S13, S14, S15, 2001 onwards WRX, FD RX-7

It will be exactly the same as factory, so ultimately for a circuit car you would still require a surge tank, but for the majority of big powered street cars, this will do the job and saves a lot of stuffing around.

for 1300 bucks it would want to do everything, I can see $300 worth of fuel pumps, the hose would cost 20 bucks and a bit of machine work.

I feel its over priced, when for 1300 bucks I could have 2 044 pumps (which would actually flow 1000hp worth of fuel), braided lines everywhere and a good surge tank.

Ps. not sayings its shit, its looks mint! but im not sure a single 5/16" fuel line to the rail and 2 walbros will support 1000hp

Its actually quite reasonably priced in my opinion. That part of my fuel system cost alot more than that, seeing how its all custom.

This is a straight bolt on solution with all the guess work taken out.

X2. Its neither an arse nor an elbow. Not suited to track work and way too pricey for what it is for a street car.

What he said, Im looking to upgrade fueling, but couldnt you add a surge tank in the mix, not many 1000hp street cars but lots of lower power cars that see the track/drags.

I may buy something like this if it could eliminate surge and supply ample fuel and still be all hidden away in a tank.

What he said. Looks like a nice, well engineered kit. But what market, BIGhp that doesnt get raced on low fuel as not o carry needless weight?!?!?! Sure you will still sell plenty as a well engineered fuel system saves a lot of labour costs

i am a week or so from doing a surge system , and in my opinion ( that's right mine) its too costly for what it is , i rekon with a few hours i could knock that up and add 2 bosch 040's and away u go.

and just for example .

surge tank with mounting brackets for 2 bosch 044's : $180 au devilered (at this price hardly worth making my own)

2 bosch 044's 200 bucks each

few ods and ends

+ this actually stops surge issues , i cant see how that system will

so well under 800 bucks u have a fuel system thats rated to well over 1000+ hp

not taking credit away it is a good idea, but i just don't think it would a big seller

c'mon Roy, 90% of big hp cars don't see the race track at all, 9% see it on the internet only. I guess 1% may visit a track once. 3 big hp GTRs in Aus regularly do track work.

so there is a market for this.

And you can be sure that billet fitting for the tank lid that seals properly costs a mint to produce. Looks excellent and much safer than the dodgy fittings most people use

On the positive side it looks well made..but does not address the fuel surge issues as already said & it is overpriced for what it is.

If the price was considerably lower it probably would be a fast selling item ..im sure people would overlook the surge side of things not being addressed if it

allowed them to supply the fuel demands needed at a reasonable price.

Exactly, if it were well under 1000 bucks It would sell like hotcakes, Hell I would have been asking about them for R33s if I still had mine.

It looks really good but like everyone else I'd be worried about the surging issues as my 33 is used for drift. May be interested once more details are released as was looking at going bigger pumps etc as i'm looking at changing to E85 and aiming for 400+rwkw.

    • Shouldn't need a "base map" for anything other than guidance to ignition tuning. You just need the engine capacity right, the injector size right, and something, almost anything, for a VE map. On an NA engine, fuelling is almost completely a function of load signal & rpm. It should run and drive with a completely flat fuel map. It will be too lean under load, but that's easily fixed. We used to tune all ECUs without any base map. There were no such things (until someone had tuned a near stock engine on one, and then they had a "base map".
    • What did you actually buy/how much did it cost? When I got mine in like.. 2017...? 2019? the aim was to run Torque for gauges via ODB2 and things like Track Addict/Laptimers/Dashcam/Reversecam/Spotify etc. Mine never broke, but I wonder if you've got the same needs (it sounds like it). Cause I liked the idea of being able to do anything with it. That said, yours also cost 3x the cost of what I spent so... food for thought.
    • For me there is a massive difference in manufacturer or big brand crippled android (Sony, Kenwood etc) vs the sort of thing I've installed here, which is basically just a tablet in DIN form factor with open Android, and the other model of course is mirroring - Android Auto/Carplay. I hate the locked down manufacturer and AA options where they decide what apps I'm allowed to install, including the Launcher but also importantly things like Ecutek (for this car) or Real Dash (Stagea) are not supported. Plus those crippled versions tend to be slower due to both overheads and lower spec hardware. On the other hand, when this breaks I'll likely be in trouble for support....but how is that different to owning an Infiniti anyway
    • Yeah, Duncan is helping sell me back to Android devices. I've hated the whole Android head units due to their speed issues. Even in my old Hyundai Kona (2022 model), it behind the scenes was Android, and slow and shitty to start up. Once running wasn't bad, but still a good 15 to 30 seconds.
    • My roof rails are off atm on the E39 until the rust is fixed. I did find another little bit of surface rust under the rails when I took them off. As @soviet_merlin said I'd just leave them alone unless you're planning on ensuring they're properly sealed. I was on the fence about leaving them off as the delete is still a thing in BMW E39's but I feel like the car is missing something (er, it is, der) with them off and I'm looking forward to putting them back on.
