Hey guys,

Just spoke to my tuner today and he recommended that i go for 1000cc injectors for my build... And he said that the ID 1000cc ones are pretty good and are still good at idle and keeping good fuel efficeny even when im running low power like 300kw's..

I couldn't find any direct fit injectors of the ID 1000cc for the R34 neo , so i was doing some research and i saw that the R34 RB25DET NEO has 14mm O ring injectors which are top feed... So if i get the same specs from ID 1000cc injectors which are top feed and 14mm o rings injectors will it fit?? Or is there anything else also i need to know, like the plugs or anyhting...

Thanx for the Help guyz!! :D

Well i just spoke to Trent at Status tuning and im getting a Link G4 ecu, injectors, bosch 040 fuel pump, already have hks intercooler, turbo back exhaust, boost controller... Well im getting mostly a GT3076R or the new hypergear highflow turbo and getting the car tuned with E85 and getting a Water methanol injection kit... So will be running around 340KW's on high boost...

So i asked him what injector size to get and he said that the new ID 1000cc injectors run well even though its not fully used and still idles and give fuel consumption as if its like a smaller cc injector... And the plus point is that its only 600 bucks for them...

mmm gt-t, fail for injector options. :D

725 will do it, hamish has 700's doesn't he?

so either/or really.

i still think that power is pushing it. yes i know a select few have been lucky, and fair enough.

i just have a feeling as more people start pushing that we will see more failures over time.

something to think about if you can't afford a rebuild.

If Trent suggested ID1000's.....

I would probably get some ID1000's....

If Trent can't scource them for you, email Injector Dynamics or T1 race developments to get the correct adapter tails to suit your application.

What dose Trent say about the WMI with E85???

J.

Well im planning on pushing 340kw's only at high high boost... and would only use it only on track days... Not for the street..

Well coming to the WMI, im planning on getting it because im planning on taking my car back to India.. And there we dont have E85 and ill have to run 97 octane... So to compensate for the less octane and no E85, i was planning on getting the WMI, considering the US dollar is lesser than the OZ dollar and my aunt is cming down, i wouldnt even have to pay shipping fees and since im getting my mods done now, i thought id get the car tuned for everything at once...

I was looking at some Water meth kits on Ebay[uS] and there were kits for like even 200 bux which are cooling-mist and aqua mist... Do u think these kits would be fine.. Im not going for big power or anything... just want it to work, the way it should..

Your so off base it's not funny.....

Your stock neo 25 isn't going to last long at 340rwkw.... especially if you track it! Why do you want 340kw so bad?

WMI isn't going to band aid 97ron into an E85 tune!!!!! You do realise you will have to re-tune your car once you get there??? Your E85 tune will be WAY too rich and WAY too much timing reguardless of how much water you pump into the thing.

Also your Indian 97ron isnt the same as our 98 or 95ron in Aus.... the fuel is completly different. Trent's good, but he's not that good.

Your aunt will have to pay for shipping to her from the supplier then import duties and gst on the parts from the US anyway.... I know, I just came from Florida 3 weeks ago.

I used these 800cc direct fit injectors into my R34 GTT, Trent installed and tuned them:

With the US dollar great at the moment they will be even cheaper then what I paid.

WMI is for 91ron or 93 is was told is only availablel in India, not for the current E85 plan as i said it would be kinda overkill.

Link is being used as he has a good LINK tuner in India as there is no PFC tuners there. I suggested PFC as it would be a easier and cheaper option but if there is no tuners its useless to him. The reasoning on the ID1000's is i get them for $95-100 ea whereas the 750's are more expensive and the 1000's idle like stock anyways. I just did a little ca18 with td06 and E85 with the 1000's and it runs like a swiss clock.

Well my main purpose of getting the WMI is for India.. I will just get it and keep it with me.. And when i go back to India ill get the car tuned with 97ron and WMI as there is a good link tuner there...

Has anyone else used the 800cc Deatsch Work injectors?? And how would u guys rate them??

dude, stop banging your head against the wall and just buy the ID1000s trent suggested. they are dirt cheap at $100 each and he just told you they run fine. he has first hand experience with them and recommends them. what more do you need?

TBH i don't really like the deatch works they are a bit fickle and have nowhere near as goods spray pattern as the 1000cc.

in fact the id1000cc's leave the nismo and blitz 555cc injectors for dead....

@ the end of the day it is your car and your decision... i will work with what ever im given but if it was my car it would be id1000.

    • Yeah, it's getting like that, my daughter is coming over on Thursday to help me remove the bonnet so I can install the Carbuilders underbonnet stuff,  I might get her to give me a hand and remove the hardtop, maybe, because on really hot days the detachable hardtop helps the aircon keep the interior cool, the heat just punches straight through to rag top I also don't have enough hair for the "wind in the hair" experience, so there is that....LOL
    • Could be falling edge/rising edge is set wrong. Are you getting sync errors?
    • On BMWs what I do because I'm more confident that I can't instantly crush the pinch welds and do thousands of USD in chassis damage is use a set of rubber jacking pads designed to protect the chassis/plastic adapter and raise a corner of the car, place the aforementioned 2x12 inch wooden planks under a tire, drop the car, then this normally gives me enough clearance to get to the front central jack point. If you don't need it to be a ramp it only needs to be 1-1.5 feet long. On my R33 I do not trust the pinch welds to tolerate any of this so I drive up on the ramps. Before then when I had to get a new floor jack that no longer cleared the front lip I removed it to get enough clearance to put the jack under it. Once you're on the ramps once you simply never let the car down to the ground. It lives on the ramps or on jack stands.
    • Nah. You need 2x taps for anything that you cannot pass the tap all the way through. And even then, there's a point in response to the above which I will come back to. The 2x taps are 1x tapered for starting, and 1x plug tap for working to the bottom of blind holes. That block's port is effectively a blind hole from the perspective of the tap. The tapered tap/tapered thread response. You don't ever leave a female hole tapered. They are supposed to be parallel, hence the wide section of a tapered tap being parallel, the existince of plug taps, etc. The male is tapered so that it will eventually get too fat for the female thread, and yes, there is some risk if the tapped length of the female hole doesn't offer enough threads, that it will not lock up very nicely. But you can always buzz off the extra length on the male thread, and the tape is very good at adding bulk to the joint.
    • Nice....looking forward to that update
