Well Austrai and Australia are right next to each other in the droplist and believe it or not Austria also has 4 digit postcodes..Its not until the parcel gets to Austria that someone looks at the actual street address and realizes its in the wrong place. And considering 3 or more language changes have been done by then I would say yes its probably suite an easy mistake to make..

Also ETD or ESTIMATED TIME OF DELIVERY is exactly that, estimated. There is not many guarantees with the postal system only insurances..trucks crash, boats sink and planes fall out of the sky..

Look you are free to get on the internet and slander his business if you are not happy..But in doing so you also leave yourself open to the readers discression of whether or not your complaints are justified and I am not convinced yet that they are I'm sorry..

I for one received a great service and a quick look at his store tells me nearly 3000 others have as well..Its true nearly 1% have been dissatisfied, but one you take honest mistakes and troublemakers out of the equation it appears to me a good service is to be expected from them..

There is a difference between delayed postage and delaying postage. My problem was with the latter. I paid as soon as i clicked by now, i waited patiently for 2 weeks to see or recieve a tracking note as i was told in the product description and also the 2 weeks was the ETD. After this period i emailed them asking where it was, i was then told "sorry for the wait" here is the tracking number it will leave this afternoon and be there in 3 days.

It left there 3 days after he said it would and took another 7 days to arrive.

So is that it getting delayed in the post? Or them not sending it in time? I think neutral feedback was justified in this case as they took a long ass time to send it once they had recieved my money and now im being "blackmailed" into changing it to positive or else im blocked? Seems to me poor business practice.

True, and it's your decision.

I don't know why ebay sellers expect 100% positive feedback these days, no business practice is perfect. There are always a few mess-ups, and its how they are dealt with that makes you a good business imo.

I just checked out his recent feedback... It seems that most people give feedback saying that delivery is really fast and a very few slightly delayed.

I have a funny feeling that delivery that is delayed is because items are advertised while not being in stock and have to be made. He most likely just needs some better stock control/monitoring and control systems put in place.

Probably good advice for anyone keen on purchasing to send him a message or email (and if you email he will probably give you a better price) to check availability and postage before you buy rather than relying on ebays generic postage times.

I did this, waited 2 weeks and never got a reply as I didn't want anti surge, gave up waiting and got one of ebay anyway.

For anyone interested I'm getting closer to fruition with my setup. Will be ordering the 20G soon (again unless Jez convinces me otherwise)

Block has been bored, honed, decked. Matched to pistons.

86.5mm CP pistons purchased

Oil pump checked and OK

Tomei Poncams 256/256 for non vct ordered and on their way

BC single springs and Ti retainers ordered and on their way

Need to send crank away and match bearings (local builder so no biggie)

Head will be sent for a quick secret squirrel once the springs and retainers come back (locally again, they drop off and pick up for me so all good)

Need to buy an S14 VRS kit, new balancer, ARP head studs and cometic or similar HG - Anyone know the best place to source these locally?

Once the above items are on I'll be getting Mick_O down to fab me some sexy pipes and were off n racing.

use your words very carefully, i am not slandering someone's business, this is what happened.

3000 other people, minus the people who were too afraid to put neutral feedback in case of re-precautions, let a lone people who did put it and were then threatened.

either way, that is not the point, i received a neutral experience due to poor service, yet apparently i'm the one in the wrong for reflecting it within the feedback system which is designed for this exact reason?

I don't see how the seller is responsible for delivery times, even DHL express 1-3 day shipping is only to our shore, not including domestic shipping.

because it's not the delivery that's delayed, they aren't getting sent off until weeks after the purchase, personally mine was sent of about 2 weeks after i bought it, the only reason i chased it up was i was quoted a fairly liberal time frame as is, and i waited until a few days after the latest estimated date, chased it up, and was told it would be sent off the next day...

remember, this was not an issue until he blackmailed me, those defending him need to remember, he was a business trying to blackmail a customer from giving accurate feedback, anyone who defends this practise should be ashamed.

yes like i said it is naive to expect good business after giving him Bad/neutral feedback...

as a general rule if I am not happy with services received and wish to leave bad feedback.. I say nothing until I am damn sure that transaction is complete and i have no need to contact them again....

Im not saying its right, its just the way the ebay system is..

If you truely think you are wronged maybe you should contact ebay with your problem and see what they say..I'd be very interested to see what they say..He has afterall offered a warranty and is obliged to honour that regardless of the feedback you give..

    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
    • So, now all you need to do is connect the 2 or 3x 12v feeds into the unit to permanent 12v, ACC 12V and IGN 12V that you can find in the spot behind the stereo, and the earth, and then it will switch on with the car.
