Damn..... Is that the reason I have shut arrive that I don't remember buying!!!!

Haha so dangerous...

But, while completely sober, I just scored myself an Emanage Ultimate!

Despite some sniper at the end who drove the price up from $150, scored it for $355! Came off an R33 and he has an SR20 map, but I should be fine to hook it up. Plus it seems to come with a universal loom!

I'm very happy with that catch, can't wait to get it hooked up. Just have to get the boost sensor, and should be right to go! Might even try and get it tuned by Cian when I come over for Gymkhana if time allows.

fitted up my 3" bellmouth front dump pipe this arvo, the car pulls sooo much better.

Just gotta get a 3" metal cat and the car will be 3" from the turbo to the rear blast pipes

sooo much less restrictive, and i made it stealthy black

Just fitted my shiny new bc coilovers yesterday, they are a pretty good piece of gear. I did get a bit excited about dropping it though, ended up running about -5 degrees of camber on the rear this resulted in my 350z wheels touching the shock body.fixed it all up today and it feels like a new car. I will say that one of the factory shocks died at the hands of my 4 inch grinder because it wouldn't come out easily - no pain no gain

so he kept up with you :nyaanyaa:lol joke.

dump/front looks great!

found out i have a nice fuel leak from the o-ring seal.

figured out when i lost a quarter of the tank within about a minute and 2kms lol

will need a part number if anyone has it.

cammmm.

Went for a retune on Sat with the MAP sensor and EBC installed...

made an extra 6 awkw @ 19PSI...>_<

The good (or bad) news on the other hand was that Cihan found the LPG was leaning out above 5k rpm...not sure why this was happening. Possibly the weather as the last tune was done in March.

So at least now I won't unknowningly blow my engine up while on gas...

need bigger jets...guess this will stop me from procrastinating from taking my car back to the gas joint.

Got a price for me for the GTX setup yet Scotty? :whistling: Can't believe I'm such a number chaser...lol

why the GTX?????

arghhhhhhhhhhhhh

you can't compare torque figures from rolling road dynos

its tractive effort which is a factor of wheel size, tyre profile, gear ratios, diff ratios and lots of other stuff

only true way to get a torque reading is on an engine dyno

i know that, but i wanted to see if there was a difference from this time compared to his last tune. i dont care what type of effort it is, if there is an improvement, regardless it will show.

Well considering all these cars use the same gear ratios and diff ratios, and rolling diameters will be very close; it's probably a fair comparison, especially given they're all on the same dyno.

Everyone knows it's just a number; but with identical drivetrains you're comparing apples with apples...

nope, ARX and AXIS have a larger rolling diameter.

also PM35s are different, also as as 2WD and 4WD models of the PM35 (im only talking about models available in australia)

    • Fair enough, I am in no way a tire expert so I'm not familiar with all the terms and conditions. I'll definitely note down the AD09 to potentially try in the future. Rain is not too big of a concern for now as I will probably only drive in the rain when I have to. And considering I still lack experience driving the GTR I'd more than likely take it easy too. I have coilovers in the car but as I barely got to drive so far I never bothered to even check if they are adjustable haha. The suspension is almost entirely old and worn as well so I suppose when I eventually fix that in the future that would make a huge difference.
    • There's not a great deal to report here .... except ...... FOR .... LSD!!!  I bought a Quaife LSD from the UK and shipped it here .... Wish I'd just bought locally cause the shipping and duty was $700! But there were so many diffs used in the E90s I just wanted to be absolutely certain I was getting the right one so I spoke with a supplier in the UK who builds race cars and they have heaps of experience with the E90s.  I pulled the diff out which was seriously awesome - I've never done anything like that before, I must have watched 1000 videos on YT about it as well as consulting the Bentley manual. It was super easy in the end. The diff was delivered to the awesome folks at Hornsby Diffs and will be back in a few weeks. I also replaced the diff bushings with some Nolathane ones.  Really looking forward to getting it back and getting back to the track or even the skidpan.
    • yeah... the 13kg/mm springs weren't always in there, I had 10kg/mm but doing a few SMSP commanded heavier front springs. It's so good now going into T1 and T2, just need more seat time and real tyres.
    • Yes, well. Mine are less than half that. ARBs are not set to "dumb" either.
    • I would hope. But, we all know even the best companies have an issue sporadically.
