I went to shoot for Kory last night as he and some buddies entered into the Twilight Drift night at Eastern Creek. It was a good nice, a little slow to start with but once the night got started everything ran smoothly. Running three seperate tracks at the same time would have been some effort. good work. I'll post up some more over the next week or so depending on time.

Hey there fellas. You know that stills really aren't my thing but on holiday you have to take a few snaps. Here are a few from Khao Lak Thailand.

I should have set the ISO on the dusk pics cause they got a bit grainy. Other tips always welcome.

Makes me want to go on holidays after seeing those pics.

Matt and Kory - Hectic pics there :)

Not sure if I like the blurring of the background but the floor was filthy.

Such a cute dog, Matt! I've been wanting to get a puppy, but my land son of rajab won't let me :( (I rent a house off my parents, so too expensive to find somewhere else. Lol)

Awesome drifting shots too guys. The sharpness with the lack of light is amazing!

Man, I had such a crap month for photos over April. Everytime I'd try and line up a shoot, either something else would come up at the last minute, or it would rain when I'd hoped to be shooting outside. :(. Any photos I did take were just flat and uninspired. Couldn't even look at them long enough to consider how to edit them.

Here's hoping this month is MUCH better. It's getting colder, but the rain usually eases over winter.

My shots were I was out on the balcony and I'm like, ooh, pretty, go get camera... more than anything else

Living in Liverpool now gives me even less time for stuff :/ Being grown up sucks heh. Also not much that's inspiring out this way.

Dude, you're roughly 20-30mins away from either me or Matt (in different directions, though), so all you have to do is let one (or a few) of us know when you wanna go out for a shoot, and we'll tee something up.

Sweet chop man! As a matter of fact i was working on a chop like this 3 days ago and i never finished it hahahaha. Won't finish it though now you've posted this, will chop another photo.

Looks much better with a different background.

Havn't had a chance to get out lately. Did manage to get this though.

I reckon this would look much better if the wheels were turned the opposite way. Definitely a cool photo with cool location!

Eric - sweet pics! I know which were taken with the iPhone :P

the background turns from a good shot into a great shot. i was going to get all sunset and flare on it but thought i'd keep it simple and clean to bring the cars out. cheers homeboy.

a note for HDR kings on cars... be mindful that your hdr will more than likely bring out all the reflections in the paint. something to think about.

    • Have you done the Ignition Sync Wizard in the AEM software?
    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
