^^ True yeah...

Some sources say it cost over $180,000 US to make, a Z-Tune and since the AUS Dollar is pretty much 1 to 1 with US (Period)...

What makes them think they can charge more of what the real / genuine R34 GTR Z-Tune would cost Nissan / Nismo to make.

well, its brand new, 0km's besides the chassi i guess. its not too bad. if you had the same equivalent new from nismo just built, i think it would still cost more or fetch a higher price. especially imports, shipping, rego etc.

replica or not, it would still be the exact same car if same parts are used, whether built by nismo or by these guys.

only thing i dont get in this entire ad is this : Be the first to own a 2011 Japo Spec I R34 GTR Z-Tune Replica in Australia. This R34 was completely stripped down and then rebuilt with all new NISMO Z-Tune parts making it better than the original Z-Tunes.

how can a exact replica be better then the original???

So if I bought a R34 GTR for ~75k.. You're saying all I have to do is rebuild the engine and I can sell if for 200k+... wow tidy profit there

It's ebay.. They can write whatever they like.. I'm the hottest guy alive..

*Because this is written on the forum everything I say is obviously completely true

no, i was just thinking if you do all the same stuff to a GTR with say less than 30,000km on the clock car alone should be 70k+ then the extensive body work, acid bath, painting, interior rebuild, (dont know if the body got any stiffening), then all the engine mods, drivetrain mods, sourcing all those parts, labor, time and effort, i do think it should cost around the 200K.

even though it is not original signed off by nismo, but its built the way it is in every aspect, it would still count as a z tune in one way or another. to me at least. if i had that exact same car, brand new from factory AND original from NISMO, i think people would spend 300k+

thats just my thought.

its just some kid trying to pull a scam, he just sold a ps2 with controllers recently, the pictures of the car are carrying euro plates and that does not look like a 760hp engine.

Further more, you will receive your order 4-6 months after payment is made and the order is processed.

The car is actually built by a German tuning company as their 'interpretation' on the Z-Tune and scored a full feature in Speedhunters

Weather the seller is a genuine seller is another question

Yeah, I have seen that as well on Speedhunters.

A great job welldone, but the only represents a Z-Tune cosmetically.

"I'm splitting hairs here..."

Engine parts / upgrade are not Z-Tune, as there is no Nismo engine parts used.

It's all ARC and HKS + I am still questioning if it's a 2.8L...

Car has only replicated a similar power figure with other branded parts of what an original Z-Tune may output.

:)

For $265K, I'd be picking up a tidy VS2 from auction in Japan then sending it to Omori to get closer to the real deal...

for 265K I would just buy a Brandspankers R35 and goto town on it.

I'm saying this an I dont even like the R35

I agree with Chef.... why try and ride on the Z-Tune's back? For that kind of investment you could build something wonderfully epic, even if you were to contract all the work out.

And that vehicle would never retain value like a Z-Tune... because it's just not.

It's very cool, but no cooler then R34 GT-R's that a lot of guys have built, many of whom that are on this website !

Honestly, now, don't call me a hater for that much money I would build in my opinion the ultimate street R32 GT-R and invest the rest.

And probably a DR30.

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
