You carb fanatics will be happier with the basis for my planned diet starting tomorrow...

Sorry Birds, cutting out the pasta from what you discussed with me the other week just won't cut it haha. Ironically it wouldn't be enough :P

You are still getting carbs in there :), just a very small amount.

Try to aim for 35g protein per meal, that helps with muscle development according to some recent scientific research.

Also your meal sizes do look quite small, perhaps you should merge some meals together? I'd consider using less protein powder and more real food but see how it works for you.

They are a little small, but just going with whatever makes me feel better for sustainability lol. Plenty of room to change shit around :) the snack serving of WPI is immediately post-workout, while the other 2 scoops are consumed while I drive to work as my breakfast. I have a liquid breakfast as lately I've been getting horrible sleep so I'm sacrificing the time it'd take for a normal breakfast fire another 30 mins sleep heh

ok so while I've grown out of the "carbs are the devil" bullshit, I still firmly believe that white wheat flour is the reason we can't have nice things. I feel like a big bag of shit after eating a bunch of ANZAC biscuits. Mouth has dried out like crazy too :(

Oh well, looks like I've got no issues demolishing ludicrous amounts of weet bix in one sitting, but I can't have a few biscuits without hating life LOL.

Carbs aren't evil

Fats aren't evil

Carbs and fats are evil

Well, as long as you get enough protein to maintain your muscle and don't blow out your remaining carb and fat macros...and staying under your BMR, should be fine lol

Bought some last night. I feel so bad for ditching paleo, I was really enjoying it. Those biscuits are pretty good though.

Definitely agree on that;but.......it's sooo goooooood

Surely that much fat in one go would play havoc on your digestive system though lol. Would definitely need to compliment it with fibre (celery??) and plenty of fluids hahaha

The amount of fibre I have is phenomenal i.e. oats, flaxseed meal, yoghurt, heaps of broccoli, brazil nuts. But anyway, the calorie content is destructive (reminds of the day when I had 1 kg of brazil nuts and ended up going to the toilet 6 times within 18 hours). Much more calories than the average person in 1 sitting.

Lately I've upped my calories to around 4500-5000 a day just for the fact I want to slightly put on more size without too much sacrifices of my stomach becoming a coffee table hehe. I'm probably at around 16% body fat now.

    • Old Son, did you re-use the Holden ABS in the new shell or try a different module?
    • Yeah, nah. I had the actuator rod off it today. The arm will not move at all. Neither out, nor in. Yeah, you'd think so, but I've been thinking about that. Even when the actuator rod fell all the way off at the beginning of this saga, it would build more boost and faster in lower gears than it would in higher gears, and you'd think that that was the opposite of what should happen. But I strongly suspect that there is a thing with the gearing getting the revs to rise faster, that there must be some transient effect with the gas flow rate rising quickly, that you don't get with the more steady state case of the higher gears. Keep in mind - the gate is not shut in either of my weirdnesses. So things are not "normal". We normally think about a turbo spooling up (below the wastegate target) with the gate shut. I have all sorts of mental models running now where the gate is a little bit open, and having it stuck open allowing gas out while it should be going through the turbine has all sorts of weird effects (in these mental models). I'm thinking in the higher gears, the ex mani pressure builds to the point where enough gases spill out the wastegate to just prevent the pressure rising much more at all, or just creeping up, all the whole the revs are increasing and getting closer to the point where a gear shift becomes necessary.
    • Is it possibly wastegate actuator itself is sticking, or even the rod to flapper? Otherwise I reckon things are getting a bit rusty/worn   Also odd it won't boost in 3rd to 5th, but will in 1st, I'd expect the other way around with it slightly open as there's more time on your way to redline for it to spin up
    • Does anyone know ow what these two plugs are for and if they should be unplugged? Just put the dash back together and can't remember if these were plugged in before or unplugged! (Blue and white plugs) 🤦🏽‍♂️
    • Did some FASTing ...got the impression that the actual part# was a moot point ; seems all of these hardlines for coolant are discontinued/NLA... like, I take it you're after the hardline that bolts onto to the manifold...that's NLA according to amayama & nengun .... ...just to clear up some confusion, they typically mounted the AAC valve to the intake manifold somewhere near a coolant passage, so the body of the valve heats up & holds it open when engine's up to temp - no coolant flows through the valve, it's a mechanical, thermal connection.
