I have seen solid mounts but I wont be going down that track unless I really have to. If the turbo touches it should just spin on the vband I guess, and I may be able to move it in a little more yet.

I cant wait to hear the noise as it comes on boost.

Haha, I have Craigs old shagged box coming down one day... Hopefully I wont need it any time soon. Kewish did a brilliant job on the clutches so unless Nissan skimped on the planetary gearset (like Ford did) it should be fine. I cant wait.

I had to remove the turbo today, fitting the temp sensor in the adapter pipe, (to give me an accurate measure of exhaust temps.) plumbed up the oil and water lines, fitted the beanie and then made the 2.5 inch hot side cooler pipe. I was glad to see the last of the old one, it was very restrictive. Not a bad days work...

Got the driveshaft back in and fitted the lower pipe.
