After lurking on SAU for a few years and after a few years of transition from my old street/track car (can you guess what it was?), I finally got myself a new car to compete in Time Attack and Tarmac rally events.....

After following the many knowledgeable posters here, I took all the combined knowledge and decided to create a true track and street weapon. So based on this wealth of knowledge, the following was born....

A rare 1997 R34 GT-T - because they are lighter than the GTR, and light is good.

Painted in a mix of blue and purple house paint - because multi-color is true sickness.

Removed one standard turbo to go single - because it makes to more responsive.

Modified Honda Vtec - because everyone knows after Nissan, Honda VTec is da bomb.

Japanese ECU - because everyone knows that Motec and Autronic as shite.

Fully sick 22inch chromies - because wheels can never be too big.

Airbag suspension - because I saw it on Pimp My Ride.

All the engine work has given a DYNO PROVEN 58kw. So if you see it on the street, don't even bother trying to race it, as it has been born from the collective power of the internet forums......

Here a few pics of the story so far.

Man that's a trick looking engine cover you got there. I went down to super cheap this arvo to see if I could pick one up for my 25DE auto and they had run out. The shiney bits on the right was additional to the kit. Did you have to pay much more for those?? :whistling:

How did you know I used to have a full sickness S13 with a mad S15 body kit? Ahhh.... you can see it in the photos!

I also used to have a mad 30 year old hair dressers car in wicked green..... it used to kick the butt of Giant's ssssslllllooooooowwwww R32 GTS-4 in all the Dutton rallies.... I even have the OFFICAL records to prove it! MMMAAAAADDDD!!!!!!

Just a little more on the full sick Vtec system......

It is a limited run of 30 from famous Japanese Tuner SKH (so the little box says, but for some reason the rest of the writing is upside down). Apparently the limited run of the 30 Honda VTEC systems was only given to a very special group of Tuners known as the "Roundabout Handling 9" club. To get into the club, a tuner must be able to show that their cars can go around a roundabout 9 times without crashing.

All the best Japanese GT-Ts proudly display their RH9 stickers to prove they are the best at roundabouts! Because we know we are at least twice as good as the Japanese, I am going to set up the RH18 club in Australia.

I found out about these mega rare SKH VTecs by watching my favorite Intenet TV shows. Some of the ones I like are:

The Block - 4 teams have to rebuild a engine block to see which one can rebuild their blocks the best.

Masterblock - Each week someone gets booted off when the can't successfully cook their block.

And my favorite is Nissans got Honda. Hosted each week by a short little man who likes to race cars. Tuners have to display their talents and people vote who goes through to the next round. Nissans got Honda showed this mad Nissan Honda Vtec system. Fully sickness to the max power.

No, Its mine. I just thought it might be fun to see who can pick out the "mistakes" in the thread, and have a bit of fun... N1GTR seems to have gotten the idea.... :-)

If you prefer, I can do the standard... Look at me, I have a car, and I am very serious.

If you knew this La Bomba guy; the way you've written this is either unbelieveable irony or vintage La Bomba.:worship:

Keep it coming; Love the colour and spec, and I like teh humourz...

Ok then, time for attempted humour to stop.... and on goes my serious face.

The specs of the car when the photos were taken are:

2000 Model R34 GTR.

Midnight Purple 3 (one of only 300 made)

HKS 2.8 ltr Step 2 bottom end.

HKS T51R SPL BB Turbo

HKS VCam Pro (1 of 30 made - and only sold to select GTR tuners in Japan)

HKS F-Con Pro V ECU.

Titanium Exhaust.

Blitz Drag intercooler.

AP Racing 6 Spot Front and 4 Spot Rear Brakes

19 x 10.5 +12 Volks.

265/30/19 all round (to be changed to 295/30/19).

HKS Hipermax suspension

Car was dynoed in Japan and made 760ps with max torque to 5000rpm. There are also lots of other little mods not listed, but are fairly obvious in the photos.

The engine is currently being modified to hopefully increase both HP and Torque and make it bulletproof.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
