Yeah mate. Hopefully they will be finishing off the 'high boost runs' then. Sooooo excited :D

Thanks lith pretty sure ive got all the dramas sorted now so im looking forward to some high boost dyno runs and seeing what the dyno plot looks like

Awesome, look forward to hearing final results - hopefully better luck this time :)

You are not the only one... I think the GTX3071R has the most potential out of the X71/76 and X35 so I am eagerly looking forward to results from someone not shy of using a bit of boost :)

Only pity is it may be held back a little by the internal gate compared to a high mount set up

I agree, its the one I was most looking forward to - however I think the stock manifold(s?) could turn out to be a problem in this particular instance.

is the compressor the only change between the GTX models? eg quite literally nothing other than the compressor + housing has changed?

Yep

Heres the end result guys cleaned the pipes up clamped it all up and connected everything up even sprayed bit of silicone spray around to make my otherwise grubby engine bay look bit more respectful :whistling:

Gunna start cleaning up the engine bay next only thing letting my car down but its getting there now  hahaha

No im not gunna be shy with the boost Simon if my fuel system can cop it and the lil GTX can blow 25psi + efficiently its gunna get all it can handle haha all in the name of science of course :nyaanyaa:

Seems the GTX's response if as good as the older GT though which is bit of a downer but it does make good power the baby of the T3 family

Thanks mate its not really but the silicone spray makes it look the goods haha

Tomorrow is good hopefully this torrential rain washes some more crap off my car but stays dry enough so i can squeeze on the power a bit tomorrow lol. :worship:

clean engine bay mate

its only one more day wait, wont hurt :P

Just got back, Yeah Mick was keen to see yours!

Pauls had dramas with a sensor which is quite minor and will be a nothing fix when shops open up again but still did 407rwkw early on.

Sorry Jez, RB wins

    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
