Its not a bad thing at all and certainly not unhappy with the car in any way, just wondering if there is any better option as the car is about to undergo a full retune so the only time to do it would be now..... I may just change my exhaust a bit and be happy with what i have, still wanted the magic 500rwhp tho :P

Id leave it dude, anything you put on will be laggier than what you have now. IF you wanted to experiment, I would put ideas towards your dump pipe size and remove the 'restriction' in your cat :)

The cat is now a 5inch body 100 cell, i can see through it so i doubt its a restriction? Dump pipe and exhaust maybe restrictive :/

He's referring to the fact there's still something in it LOL

Even with cams and an ex manifold thats a very good result for a 3071 on SR20 on 98 at that boost 18psi, more of an 'RB25 result', no?

Its defiantly moving well before 5000rpm.

0.83 btw.

Taken your out to the Creek yet Scott? I'm keen at some stage.

oh its a .82? any reason why you chose the bigger housing?

I haven't gone to the creek yet no, clutch failed 3rd time i took it up the street lol got the box out atm and replacement clutch in the post now. Just waiting and juggling priorities as I just bought a unit (to live in).

I'll PM you when I'm going down if you want to have a crack

It was on the car when I bought it.

I wouldn't change it anyway. I bought it to be a track car, so response isn't as critical as having a street driven / daily drive car. But still, it feels responsive enough to be good fun. Probably the reason it doesn't go over in the top end.

Sure - Drop me a PM, I want to run this down WSID to see how it goes.

    • Not sure the US can import anything other than the C34 Stagea's, but if you can and you need to to tow, DO NOT under any circumstances get an M35 Stagea. If it is just as a family car and your country/state allows it, absolutely and definitely get an M35 (3.5L if possible as it is effectively a 350Z) over a C34.
    • Punch your VIN (nm35-xxxxxx) into Amayama.com You can see everything there quite easily.
    • Thanks for that, I'll check it all out. I can always do the brakes last anyway if its a problem.  The 16's are super cool, if they do fit I'll cruise around with them for a bit.
    • Well, that's kinda the point. The calipers might interfere with the inside of the barrels 16" rims are only about 14" inside the barrels, which is ~350mm, and 334mm rotors only leave about 8mm outboard for the caliper before you get to 350, And.... that;s not gunna be enough. If the rims have a larger ID than that, you might sneak it in. I'd be putting a measuring stick inside the wheel and eyeballing the extra required for the caliper outboard of the rotor before committing to bolting it all on.
