Thanks guys. Some point between turning off the northern expressway and Tanunda, on the way to see Classic Adelaide cars. Will post some more pics of them later.

cheers. it was just a bit of afternoon sunlight sneeking through a small opening in the curtains.

and thanks wilorichie, ive applied at a few places. not that i wont enjoy the time off between jobs, so many graff spots to go and catch up on that i never had the time to visit while working (and my weekends are for the kids only)

This shot is really impressive Matt. The car is just launching so you had to anticipate the launch, pan to match the launch speed & acceleration and all done in the first few meters before the car even crosses the tree. Wow! Impressive!

i went and grabbed a few snaps of the drifting at lunch during the drag day. this is what was going down on the other side...

What settings do you play with to blur out the back ground but have the car solid?

i just push the 'win' button.

Longer exposures will give more blur and motion. I reckon as a guess those ones would be shot at around 1/30th, but i'd have to check when I'm at home.

So I was at a wedding overseas and out of know where the grooms best friend pulls out a gun. Apparently its tradition to fire a shot at a wedding.

I think it was a shotgun of some kind.

This is me videoing him taking a shot. He let me take a shot afterwards!! I have held a gun before, but never fired one. Was an incredible experience feeling the force of the gun when its fired.
