scotty nm35
Specs? What do you want to know? Its an oem Nissan bb turbo with a ceramic turbine wheel. The only similar one I have seen is off the vq30det. Sage222
Thanks Scotty thats a start.. Didnt know it was BB or ceramic.. though what about compressor/turbine diameter ED/ID? A/R? etc? I am trying to work out the efficiency of the turbo at the boost i am running.. cheers. scotty nm35
Not too good I'm guessing, especially if you are running higher boost than stock. I can measure the inducer/ exducer diameters tonight if you need them but it will only give you a theoretical best case efficiency Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/377637-m35-anyone-know-what-turbo-it-runs/#findComment-6022083 Share on other sites

scotty nm35
Compressor housing - A/R 0.60 Compressor Inducer - 46.5mm Exducer - 60mm Turbine Inducer - 51mm Exducer - 42.4mm I have no idea what the rear A/R is, probably around .6 also. Sage222
fantastic info mate. thank you. in reading up on turbo efficiency i found this very handy calculator.. thought id share the link. it uses the efficiency charts from the manufacturer and then overlays your cars map on top of it. http://www.squirrelpf.com/turbocalc/ Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/377637-m35-anyone-know-what-turbo-it-runs/#findComment-6023215 Share on other sites

Tangles
Twin turbo M35 would be pretty sweet. One in stock position, the other in place of rear muffler. STS turbo system I believe its called. Sure the pipework would be long (from exhaust muffler back to intercooler) but the lag wouldnt be too bad. Costs $2000USD for the universal setup - http://ststurbo.com/inc/iview/1900?idx=2&p=412 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/377637-m35-anyone-know-what-turbo-it-runs/#findComment-6023764 Share on other sites
