I'm pretty sure thats not why your renting at all..

but just to further show how little you know can you point out when exactly rates where 4.8%? dating back to 1959 i cant see any variable rates being offered below 5%

Don't have to inform them of a respray if it's the same colour or a variation/shade of it, but changes from red to yellow or green to black etc. need to be made known.

Whoopdy Farken Doo.. I was .50% off. I'm not an accountant nor a banker, I don't keep a track record of interest rates but i just say what I can recall. Just a couple years ago it was the 5% mark which was close enough to what I said.

oh ok, so you want rates to drop to where they did which further fuelled the credit binge and sky rocketed house prices? not to mention they were at that level for less than 12 months hardly worth hanging out for again to make life descisions..

australia is going through deleveraging and its a good thing, the RBA should stay out of it for the time being, we have the highest personal debt levels in the world its about time people started saving, which they are at record rates we went from spending 150% of our incomes to saving 10cents in the dollar within a 12-18 month period.

Trying not to come off as a nagging child although understandably suggestions are far easier to make after an event. I have not been to an official event before therefore I had no reference to suggest prior to this one.

I would be happy to volunteer, although when I try to provide constructive feedback to a 'Club Executive' it's taken as a complaint. It's a little difficult to want to volunteer when the absolute first step of the whole process, making suggestions as an attendee, is a grueling experience.

Not quite sure why I bothered giving a shit :(

Well I wasn’t talking about you – you aren’t a member. It’s the other usual suspects who complain after every event and never do anything about it.

I’m not viewing anything you’ve said as a complaint. Things can be improved, but that needs people to actually pitch in and do it.

Currently, there are none :)

This sums it up perfectly.

Anyone can spot problems, coming up with an actual solution to keep everyone happy is another thing. If you've got a solution, send it through... all committee is, a bunch of fellow members critiquing items and throwing ideas/input at it until a majority agree on something...because 10 minds are better than 1.

6 / 8 same same, same reason i didnt enter the sau nats one its just to long imo, clearly others dont have an issue with it which is fine but i'd be willing to bet you'd have a better turn out with a shorter time frame of mandatory attendance.

but im not knockin your events you guys do a good job considering its unpaid unloved work

We used to have people put their cars in for Autosalon for 3 days, all 40 of them. This was when the club had 150 odd members as well. Not the 300 we have not

The difference is it is 2011… And that means everyone

1. Would prefer to complain that something doesn’t work without offering a reasonable solution.

2. Wants the world to bend to their specific requirements and needs

Remember events need to cater for not just members… There is… Our Insurance, Councils (and their insurance), Private companies like local business…

Some events simply don’t happen easily and there is a massive level of piss-farting around that goes on, that until you’ve done it, you’d never know it existed.

No waiz.. what did you have back then?

Knew some people from Mccr, it's a shame they no longer exist. The club exec. was a dude with a black Mr2 and i believe he also had a powerful soarer

Such things always have a limited life span. Same as Vic Imports and other sub-divisions. If everyone stayed within the major clubs and stopped trying to splinter off.

The Melb car scene would be MUCH stronger than it currently is. Hence SAU is looking to a bit of rebranding in the next 12 months to sorta merge that up a bit

MCCR owner now owns StreetFX, and is involved with Firesport if I am not mistaken :)

We should enter autosalon the next time it's at the exhibition centre and have a massive sign that says 'SAU The normal cars'

    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
