I'm just trying to keep myself entertained while i wait to start nightshift again. I don't really care what sort of car a 35 is, not that big of a fan of them haha

It's ok Ryan, I am not personally attacking you.

Ima just shit talk y0 in the Wasteland...

It's what we all do here

You been in a 911 turbo? Terrible interiors! Or GT2/GT3 = no interior lol. I think it's more this perception that it has to be from Italy or Germany to be classified a supercar, because that's where the exotics and supercar manufacturers come from. Rolls Royce Ghost @ 600k-800k are super exclusive, but I wouldn't call these supercars.

gt2/3 are stripped deliberately so not a fair comparison to a fully loaded car / interior.

dont get me wrong i like gtr's but if someone dangled 458 / aventador / gtr keys infront of me said take one.. it would 100% be the lambo for me.

more than 2 dealers sell skylines, i know werribee does my gf's cousin bought it off the showroom floor.. intended to buy a 370z left with a gtr

GT2 RS and GT3 RS are the stripped down ones with half cages at the back from factory :D

Yeah Werribee and Ferntree Gully.

Must have been a no brainer with that decent up sell from a 370Z to a R35 GTR

I'm not a fan of the R35 either, Lambo is a better looking/sounding car and more expensive and that's what would pull me to it, just not what defines a supercar for me. Is there a dictionary with this word in it lol?

wiki

Supercar is a term used most often to describe an expensive high end car. It has been defined specifically as "a very expensive, fast or powerful car".[1] Stated in more general terms: "it must be very fast, with sporting handling to match", "it should be sleek and eye-catching" and its price should be "one in a rarefied atmosphere of its own".[2]

However, the proper application of the term is subjective and disputed, especially among enthusiasts. So-called vehicles are typically out of the ordinary and are marketed by automakers to be perceived by the public as unusual. The supercar can take many forms including limited production specials from an "elite" automaker, standard looking cars made by mainstream companies that hide massive power and performance, as well as models that appeal to "hardcore enthusiasts" from "manufacturers on the fringe of the car industry".[3

Depends on how you want to define it.

New slipmats so once I cue up a track the turntable can spin at the right rpm under it.

    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
    • I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.
    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
