I'm just taking the logical approach and hoping for a big refund

We shall see come Thursday :P

f*cking hecs, got my statement in the mail couple days ago. $30,000 repayment still to go -__-

Suck it up Patricia, cheapest loan you'll ever get

Also mine is bigger

Got some big HECS debt on here

Yeah I think I read 2015 (but then who knows when actually available for us to purchase). All good, will be well and truly off my P's then + wait some time for someone else to buy it new and then buy second hand (unless I'm ballin' then and has $$). :D. Apparently priced around $60K (So similar to 370Z $). S16 anyone? :P

Apparently they won't be releasing a new Silvia, more likely a smaller engined Z-car to sit under the current 370Z in the line-up.

2011 and newer polo GTI have the 1.4TC and 7spd DSG.

basiclly deciding between the 86 and the gti atm.

lol I am in exactly the same predicament at the moment, except Golf GTI rather than Polo GTI. I'm leaning more towards the Golf GTI than then 86.

Adam, one is a ninja 250r (very newbie like 500kms under his belt) the other is a r1 fairly experienced / daily

Oh count me in, but only if it's cool me tagging along. Don't want to be a third wheel...get it...

Where you headed?

Wastelanders - this is my first year of house ownership, I'm assuming there's no tax benefits I can claim? I just wasn't sure, I do my own tax every year but want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

Not when it's principle place if it's rented or has been you could I think Toby will know best!

How's it going with the house?

Lol oh well.

At least its reducing your HECS debt :P

HECS would have been paid off at the end of the year anyway :( Now the money I've saved to install ducted heating is all going to the tax man... time to buy some blankets

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
