Oh really

oh i see

Yeah I agree - it came with it, the 46 and dunlop are coming off when I get my DRZ stickers on :)

It's not exactly slow, I rode my cousins ninja 250 and it felt like half as quick lol which is fair enough being a 400.. (obviously not as quick as my 650 though but then again it's not meant to be, just heaps more fun!)

factory wet weight is 146 KGs i've taken a lot of stuff off it and when you've got half a tank of fuel + me being only 70kgs front will come up :D

didn't mean anything about it being slow just the style of it. my dry weight is 141kg aparently

Lol, I bought 8 dollar mirrors off ebay, bar end mirrors which i'll be mounting under the bar like this:

Good thing about motorbikes is cheap and easy to mod.. so far I've spent like $250 on front fender, rear fender eliminator, front light, rim tape, stickers, mirrors etc. cheap cheap!

A good learning curve for me as well on how stuff works without messing around with a car that you need for work/daily I just hope my front forks don't fall off when I'm practising wheelies

how can you possibly see anything out of those mirrors mounted there with you sitting on the bike? :ermm:

bikes might be cheaper to mod but there's not much you can mod (i think) compared to cars were you can replace/mod a million different parts/panels etc which might cost alot more but it's also more "fun" imo

Oh really

Hmmm I'd have to agree with Rimon. IMO if the rider has never raced that manufacturer then someone sticks their number on that bike it just looks strange. Only my feelings though.

that's what I thought at first but people make the argument that you can see better because your arms dont get in the way and you see right underneath them (could be different because its a motard) but I shall give them a go.. anything is an improvement over nothing like I have now, full body turns lol.

lol fair enough, I just miss emailing people random shit :P

oh and the office womens (although that was at the body shop so more than usual!)

nah but seriously prefer software / PC / server related over this sparky stuff

Martin - give me a job brah :D

ha I spent my day with drills, pry bars and shit today..

that said I'm on leave so doing it for fun.

striping a Loom on a EF falcon to the bare min to get the car started. got nearly 50% gone ATM and the smartlock alarm still works.

I wasn't really arguing it...just being a smart ass...

relax guys I didn't put the number on it came with the bike and it'll be gone when i can be bothered heating it up and removing :P all numbers are silly unless you're racing imo

reminds me of when I left calder on a friday night with a number on the side of my car left it on and did some prinny laps lol

Yeh got it all brah.. And more

Fkn hoodie/trackies electric blanket on high still cold what the Ferk :/ I gotta feeling death may feel

Agreed, my favourite N/A v8 sound

Chargers another ball game :P

Same game for me! I was lucky enough to have this (ex-V8 supercar) Windsor in my possession for a week muhahahaha...

You don't touch the throttle, you just release the brake pedal a little

    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
    • So M12 and sealant should be fine?    NPT ” because that’s what I had and what I could get atm.
    • Wouldn’t touch par if they gave it to me. You need to ask how much power you’re looking to make and then add about 50% to it because that’s what you’ll end up making  The factory box says no more at about 350kw or so, the upgraded synchro boxes won’t handle much over 500kw for long and at that point you’re looking at an auto or dog engagement manual,  once you’ve gone dog engagement you may as well go sequential, they cost a little bit more but it’s worth it  also while you’re at it you should upgrade the transfer case with 10 friction plates
