"Less than 2 years professional working experience after bachelor graduates or max 3 years of working experience for Master graduates"

my mistake, i guess you still good to go.

Still confused as shit lol.

My Dad does. Uses far less than he puts back into the grid, so they are always paying him. Paid itself off very quickly.

my parents have from memory an $8k or $9k solar install and have had it for about 2 years now i think

the did the first install and then added more panels later on. their power bill last year was $37 or something stupid like that for the whole year

because they have so many panels and dont use a lot of power they basically come out even for a while year. this is with my 2 parents and my brother in the house. they are pretty watchful of power usage but still have the usual plasma tv, pool pump, another tv, stereo, elec oven etc

more often than not they are sending power to the grid which just clocks up credits for them on their bill all the time

That's what I wanna hear.

i dont know when they will break even but it shouldnt be too far away

in comparison the power bill at my place with me and jess is $120 a month

ill sort out solar once we are married and all the expensive stuff is paid for

want to knock out a wall and get married first

yeah its definetly a good step forward in saving money and the environment

if every 2nd household moves to solar imagine the slow decline reliance on fossil energy over time

it all adds up

ive seen poeple get those "power eco friendly" power boards that turn off your devices and shit when idle

dont bother with that crap all it does is annoy you and flick your devices off during idle / standby.

sure some devices may use a few watts at idle but if you have solar you are fine

its like LP gas coversions, they reckon 2 years it has paid for itself

i think in darwin gas was $1.01 for some spazzo reason (we just got back from darwin today)

in melbourne its like $0.58 - no idea why?????

penis fuel was $1.55 and down here it is $1.37 - seems normal, not sure on gas

means if you have already been working in your field of study for more than 2yrs, then you are not entitled to apply for graduate position.

What's stopping people from saying they haven't worked for more than 2 years?

well as i said a smooth talker like yourself can play the game haha

Im sure the regular joe shmoe will dump all their experience into the resume and get caught out with too many years of exp.

However if you have worked for more than 2yrs in your field of study then a grad role would be a waste of time. Better off applying for a position instead.

now someone tell me how to access my iphone's icloud photostream photos on my android tablet.

I have the icloud program on my windows PC which shows the photos in the documents folder but dont think apple is going to release an android app anytime soon haha

Im thinking one option would be to set up sync to a different cloud server which has an android app (like google+ or dropbox etc) but then i'd have two photo storage places (icloud & dropbox)

hmmmz

My elec bill (on my own) was about $200 for the quarter so not a big deal...My parents is fairly massive though, $1000 a quarter (mum/dad and brother living there)...Pool pump 2 LCD's 1 plasma few fridges (2 old ones in the garage that won't be doing the bill any good) and running the split systems for heating until the ducted gas system is fixed which will take a massive chunk of usage out... But I can't see how it wouldn't pay itself off...They're getting the 31cent feed in tarrif, which is more than people pay for electricity, so as long as the panels are getting sun during the day, they should be in front. Ends in 2016 but I'd say they'd keep it going after that... People that got it before september 2011 get 60 something cents feed in which is massive and would pay itself off in no time if you had a big system..

I paid $400 for my gas conversion with the $2k govt rebate, so it paid itself off a long time ago I'd say

My parents have those things, do my fkin head in. I got em a universal remote so they didn't have to use 3-4 remotes to turn all the shit on to watch TV, but that power thing f**ks that up a bit... I'd rather leave the shit on standby at my joint than have to f**k around with my universal remote to get shit turned on

Yeah that's what I'm thinking, the latter. Grad positions are generally low salary and they prolly don't want to attract people expecting something decent / they'd have to pay more than 40-45k PA for.

Bigger companies willing to pay for the best. Doesn't hurt to apply and sit through interview. More experience in interviews the better

    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.
    • Damn that was hilarious, and a bit embarrassing for skylines in general 😂 vintage car life ey. That R33 really stomped. Pretty entertaining stuff
    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
    • Saw this replica police car based on a Mitsubishi Starion XX parked next to a 'police box' (it's literally a box) in Hirohata, Himeji City in Hyogo prefecture the other day. It's owned by Morii-san who is a local Mitsubishi Starion enthusiast. According to a local radio station blog post, he always wanted to make a police car himself based on ones he saw in his favourite Manga comics.  As it's illegal to modify a car to look like a police car and drive on the road, Morii-san tried many times to get permission from Aboshi police station headquarters nearby. They refused initially by after they got tired of that they granted him permission. However, the car can only be displayed on private property and obviously can't be registered as long as the police livery is present. The car was completed at a cost of 1.5 million yen (US$ 10,000) in addition to the car cost. A location was chosen outside Hirohata Police box where the car can easily been seen from the street. Morii-san has two other Starion road cars, both widebody GSR-VRs.
