BBS club represent! Might also need some slight gaurd rolling although wheels are the same offset as already on and they don't rub at the mo. However need to mod exhaust to run a little lower so will have to look again. Tracking new lips and outers/bolts from Germany at the moment.

Quite oh my!

Nice, I'm going pointy bolts :P

Not sure what colour still to paint centers, either be colour coded again or black with lots and lots of flake in it both with gold bolts I'm thinking

Nah Matt's... He wanted to sell his and to buy mine because it was for sale just after he bought his. Told him he should cause he will get mod bug, decided against it

Now it makes same power as what mine was iirc, just less in cosmetic parts but spent all his money anyway lol

How did you guys manage that????

How it matter how stretched or bulge your tyres are?

mine had a big loose coming off the sweeper at winton, doing around 140 tyre delamed after 2 very solid track days in a row and I went flying. it dug in on roll over alley..lucky not roll over

just

ripped tyres off rims

bent tie road

bent rear toe rod

killed rear sub frame bushes

bent rear hub..

so got out of it pretty light

all parts upgraded with new adjustable /solid/better items now.

mine were def not streched

235 on 8"s front

255 on 9"'s rear

Mr momo. What's been happening?

not much man, still trying to build up my car lol. The guy that's supposed to get me the Roady won't answer my calls so I'm not sire Wtfs going on. Not happy either way.

Where you buying from? I have got a set of new chrome bolts spare as well as 17 x 2.5 in lips and 17 x 6.5 in barrells if needed. I am loving this at the moment for a dark car (not for me).

A mate just got some stuff powdercoated with the name of colour "Black Onyx" it looks sooooooo good. Can find the brand of powder if you need. Show me what you are thinking.

Not sure if I can live up to Tony's prowess... :whistling:

..... :3some:

Quite oh my!

Will report back with results... if you know what I mean...

What are you asking for chrome bolts? 136 or more?

Buying from Germany and US, already ordered lips to max I can go :P

Won't be powdercoating as it's a little more expensive than paint for pretty much same results. Also powdercoat has a chance to change the integrity of the alloy as the rims are heated treated when they are made When its powedercoated its heated to about 400-500 degress instead of 60degrees like painting

136 bolts = $100. Pretty sure most powedercoat's can be melted at 200 deg C - so no problem even on Magnesium (they do have other problems with oxidation/time between stripping and coating). Paint them 2 pack? Which companies ordered from?

Oh the bolts do not have any markings on them..... however the bolts I have also bought (and gen ones from BBS) from Tunershop have also had no markings on them (even if they are only 8.8's that many of them would be more than fine).

Cool no worries, let me cancel my order and I'll grab bolts off you :) m7x32mm yeah?

I'll let you know when its all sorted.

I know bolts have no markings, purchased gold ones from Tunershop when I rebuilt the Super RS's

Yeah plan on doing two pack anyway, that's how did the last ones.

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.

    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
