Only trying it for the alleged wake up feeling fresh benefit

I wake up feeling lethargic for the first couple of hours generally, body takes a while to counteract the extra 'sleep chemical' and release enough 'wake chemical'. Your brain doesn't necessarily release as much Melatonin naturally as you'll be taking, so you might take a little while to adjust. I found I was getting 'Melatonin Hangovers' in the beginning. See how your body reacts and adjust your dose, everyone is different.

Ordered Nismo gear knob today.

Just need Nismo 320 cluster and centre gauge, and fire extinsurger mount bracket. And interior is done.

Fire extinguisher bracket...

So ill be seeing you at the next track day?

where you thinking of mounting i need to mount mine..and what gear knob the round one of the thin longer ones?

congrats by the way saw it on fb a couple times it mint

Thinking of putting it below drivers seat cos I recall a thread in Victoria about that bracket a bloke made them, just need to find the thread.

I'm getting round one in white and would like to get Nismo cluster in white like the one in my 1st GTR.

Thanks.

Tony, looking to do just drags and DECA to start off, my cajones aren't big enough!

I have the centre gauge set but you'll need the surround.

This guys become an addict.

Haha yeah bucket seat and racing harness to go on this weekend

good to see one of us doing regular track work, making us all look like a bunch of hard-parkers!

Doing track work has kind of opened my eyes in the point of owning a modified car

Come join me Pat!

Are you sure? Cos el presidente would disagree this statement :P

Yeah that guy is a bit crazy haha

Given parking in a car park being something car enthusiasts have been doing for probably 40 years. Love the name change people are using nowadays, hopefully it makes it into the dictionary with something along the lines of:

hard-parked - new term coined by new scene kiddy, flat capped, skinny jean wearing homos - to be "individual". More commonly referred too as "parking your at a car meet"

yeh lol i cant wait to get into another car so i can do some track work..

Probably just a glorified PA

I lol'd.

Good work on the track down Marty, shit can be so satisfying. Call up the police with the same info and they'll give you a spiel about the privacy act. Good thing this act doesn't protect people from their own stupidity.

Had someone steal their car from our workshop after we had worked on it...all I had were numberplates and a first name. Had to seek an order to get Vicroads to release information for the sheriff's office to go serve him, but he wasn't at the registered address, so they put it in the too hard basket.

So I start up the Birds detective agency and, 100 rabbit holes later, I knew more about him than his mum! Most importantly, his place of work (which he'd raved about on his FB wall...along with various status updates bagging our company and calling us criminals)...so we could serve his f**king papers on him.

    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
    • Fair enough, I am in no way a tire expert so I'm not familiar with all the terms and conditions. I'll definitely note down the AD09 to potentially try in the future. Rain is not too big of a concern for now as I will probably only drive in the rain when I have to. And considering I still lack experience driving the GTR I'd more than likely take it easy too. I have coilovers in the car but as I barely got to drive so far I never bothered to even check if they are adjustable haha. The suspension is almost entirely old and worn as well so I suppose when I eventually fix that in the future that would make a huge difference.
