Not big on the grey mid fairing, need to decide whether I'll spray it black or red...Also want to black out a lot of the silver (heatshield, sub frame etc) but no rush there....First mods will be exhaust, fender elim, integrated tail light and smaller indicators, as well as a black screen from Charles...Also got some rim tape on the way, but that'll be it for now

Nice. My bike plans have been set back, hopefully before the end of the year.

Is there any personal insurance on track days?

If you are injured, there is no TAC, so who covers you? CAMS? Any info on the internets?

there is cams insurance but I know it doesn't cover things like an ambulance ride to hospital etc, so I think it your health insurance.

dezz thoughts on vettel joining the ferarri team in 2014? should be interesting to see how alonso responds

I'd be torn...by my deep, deep hate for Vettel, and the fact that he is undoubtedly quick.

He'd push Alonso to be better, something Massa hasn't been in a position to do all season up until the last race or 2, and more than likely beat him on his day

It'd be good for Ferrari in terms of constructors, I'd just hate myself for wanting Vettel to place well/win because he's driving for Ferrari.

Kimi/Alonso would be my dream lineup at Ferrari, but I don't see that hapening

Yeh I guess although id say Ferrari use to be the team to be aiming for, now I think rbr / mclaren personally

Rbr seems to be well ahead on r&d and the pack chasing / whinging after them after every change

Maybe they spend more dunno..

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
