It certainly wouldn't be coming to Australia next year even if for some reason that article were true, so he doesn't have much to worry about. The BRZ coordinator said there's no plans for a different model next year, they're just releasing STI parts to add on. None are engine related. See here: http://subaru.com.au...-brz-takes-aims

Does the Sports Muffler do anything?

Is the Coil Set stiffer and make the car lower?

Front Under Spoiler / side skirts and boot spoiler looks nice.

Rear Under Diffuser is a nice addition and the Quick Shift Gear Lever can come in handy.

Wouldn't bother with the wheels as you'd get your own.

There's not been any details released as yet. I've already added the rear diffuser to my order, so out of that list I think I'd add the 'Front Under Spoiler'/front diffuser, 'Side Under Spoiler'/side skirts, and 'boot lip spoiler' as they become available. I love factory parts. Wheels, coilovers and braces I'll go aftermarket.

Approx. August 2013

That's unlucky, my friend's one is coming in April. It was supposed to be here in March but they screwed up his order so it got delayed.

Have you taken one for a test drive yet?

I didn't order the minute the were released so I was prepared for the wait. Took one for a test drive in August, loved it, came home and ordered :)

I don't wanna start a thing here, but...

Coke > Pepsi

"I'll have a coke"

- "Sorry sir, we are currently out of coke, would a pepsi be OK?"

"Well, is monopoly money OK?"

My thoughts on this.

<3 coke.

Always see your R34 Juliette, still looks the same lol. Not even aftermarket wheels :P

You know I find that incredible. Thought for sure it'd be riced up since a P Plater bought it (25-year old P Plater but still, naughty boy owning a turbo on P's.) I wasn't going to argue, got the price I wanted for it and after 6 months for sale I was almost paying someone to take it!

I look forward to taking one for a drive. I wouldn't be surprised if one ends up being my next car. What colour did you get?

It's funny I always hear from Skyline owners how long it takes for them to sell their car. Many of them told me not to sell it because it would take so long and have my time wasted by so many people. I sold mine in a month and got a good price :)

    • Possibly avoid using a Cometic one unless the deck/head surface are perfectly flat. I did have a look just then and forgiving gaskets such as Tomei or Nitto don't exist for the FJ20, however the Bar-Tek or Kameari ones look good and might do the trick.
    • Because pipe threads for pipe things. M threads for bolt things. Throw some teflon sealant onto it and dust your hands off knowing you did the right thing, instead of going twice around the block to achieve a result using the wrong things. Of course, all of these solutions are ignoring the fact that the minimum thread pitch we're talking about here is 1.25mm, with the 1/4" in NPT or BPS being out around 1.4mm. You will need to know that the boss you're tapping has enough thickness for at least a few threads. That's one of the reasons that 1/8" is commonly used - because the pitch is <1mm. And why would you look to use 1/4" NPT in a BSP country anyway? Ugh.
    • Just throwing around ideas, does it need to be in the compressor cover? Why not the hot side piping?
    • 1/8NPT drill size = 8.7mm. Since the hole got messed up by me, it’s probably around 9mm.    So 1/4” NPT would be next step. A drill size of around 11mm would be preferred there which is not way of my M12 (drill 10.5mm and tap M12 threads)
