hence why i said if it was a factory option for that particular vehicle, the furthest that would stretch would be nismo right?

Nismo parts aren't factory option though, They're aftermarket. Only time they'd be factory options would be for one of the Nismo released models, 400R, ZTune etc.

Not modifying an N1 kinda defeats the entire purpose it was built for in the first place. They're for race car homologation, it's supposed to be a race car. It's supposed to be a base to add on and change as your team sees fit to make it faster

Yeh, maybe if you were buying it new from factory as a base, you wouldn't be buying it as a base for mods 15 years down the track.

And I'm sure you understood what I meant by factory options. I thought nismo may have been a factory option, If not, then no mods :)

Nissan Motorsport International...

It's Nissan's Racing Division making Street Performance to GT Cars.

I would have a feeling Nissan would offer Nismo parts from dealer...

If not, you would have to take it to the Nismo Factories.

thats what I thought.. lol

collectors item i think...

if you bought it, you wouldnt be modifying it...

which is gay.... GTR's are for driving, not hardparking

wouldnt even tune it, why have some random tuner touch it.

only bits i would be putting on, is if they were a factory option for that particular car, like you said.. nismo..

i'd trust a tune from trent in australian weather / humidity / specific fuel etc over a factory nismo tune any day...

hardly some random

Just another 33 if you ask me

You would trust Trent, as a lot do, but other people may not and would consider him 'some random' not that I do..

yeah, but if it wasn't trent i could find another place that I would trust.

things age over 20 years too... not to mention that the jap tunes are different fuel...

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
