Invest in a proper anti-fog and anti-glare shield and wipe with Rain-X before each race. The shields that come with helmets by default are usually rubbish. Even if you buy a cheap helmet, a good visor can make all the difference.

Or...

In any case, if all you're using it is for CAMS events, just get one that's Snell SA2010 certified from the US. they're a lot cheaper than the extortion money local mobs ask. It won't come with an AU cert sticker, but you only need one of those for road use. For example those Pyrotech and Bell helmets can be imported from the US for about $100 less. Make sure you don't get an SA2005 helmet, cos you can't use those after 2015. An SA2010 you can use till 2020.

That video was made so quickly that it was played at the reception centre, an they only started recording that morning.

Dedication at its best I was majorly impressed!

Yeah read the description of the video and was impressed with the dedication in a 30+ degrees day.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
